Graphic Request Thread

[D-Roc]

If you would like to request an image, graphic (avatar, sig, etc) or for an existing graphic to be cropped or manipulated in some way, feel free to post your request/s here.

Here are some things to remember when making your request.


Be polite - this may encourage potential helpers to offer their assistance.
Explain fully your request - be as specific as possible and provide as much information as possible. For exmaple, if you require a signature, provide the size, character, style (etc) requirements.
Please bear in mind that you might not get a response to your request - it is completely up to an individual if they feel that they have the time and ability to help you.
Be patient - if someone is making a graphic for you, please be considerate of their time.
Consider giving credit (perhaps a "sig made by"..) tag underneath your sig. It's one of the best ways to say 'thanks' to the person who has helped you.

Ok. Could somebody please make a signature pic from 1.13...when peter pulls olivia from the tank and is holding her. You all know. That very tender part that melted our (at least my) hearts. I know there was one already made but it wasn't very clear and you couldn't see it very well.

Hey there, i just started watching Fringe last night, thanks to Philip DeFranco as I had never heard of it before, and swallowed all of the episodes to date since then. I can be a little obsessive.

I have no graphics skills, but I looked as hard as I could for a Wallpaper involving the Observer and there doesn't seem to be one. I don't care if he's the focus of it, or simply in the background watching something interesting, but I was really hoping someone here could use their skills to help me out. For details, I only really request that the Observer be involved and that he not be labeled. Other than that go crazy =D Thanks to anyone who has the time and patience to do this. My screen resolution is 1600x1200, I use a widescreen monitor.

Here you go Matthew, below should be 3 wallpaper size textures, the first showing the pattern made for GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/), second showing the brush for GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) and the last just a random one with various pastel colors. Basically just done a gradient in the background and random blobs on top (took the colors from the icon u provided).

As I am new here, I've noticed that when I post, it looks pretty lame. I could really use, and would really appreciate, some sort of signature banner and an avatar.

Hi Matthew, I hope it's how to add Brushes/Patterns to GIMP that you asking, if not ignore this post!

When you installed GIMP it created folders on your hard drive for you to add Brushes, Patterns, Fonts, Scripts, Gradients etc.

To find where the folders are located, start GIMP and goto EDIT>PREFERENCES and click on the > FOLDERS. A list of all the folders should be shown. Click on them to see the whereabouts on your hard drive.

eg
/home/usrname/.gimp2.6/brushes
or
C:\Documents and Settings\usrname\.gimp-2.6\brushes

All you have to do now is copy/paste or drag"n"drop the downloaded Brush/ Pattern to the relevant folder.:happy15: Hope this helps!

note: dots.gbr (http://www.mediafire.com/?whtajtqmwqo) is the Brush file, dots.pat (http://www.mediafire.com/?zzxxzeagoz0) is the Pattern. Will have to restart/refresh GIMP to make new Brush/ Pattern appear in your dialogues.

Hello all!

I am new here and I am really wanting a great sig. I have no graphic skills whatsoever, so I was wondering if someone could make one for me. I want it to be Olivia and Peter with a cute quote like "who cares about me?...I care about you" with a couple pics of them (like from Bad Dreams and Jacksonville, perhaps). I want it to be Olivia and Peter with a cute quote like "who cares about me?...I care about you" with a couple pics of them (like from Bad Dreams and Jacksonville, perhaps). Or maybe "If you need me, I'm here...I know" or "I'm scared...don't be." I know those have ALL probably been used, but they are the most memorable P&O moments! :)

I'm really open to anything P&O related, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, still oriented the same way, opposite directions (as if they are looking at each other at the exact same moment, but were looking at it from each others point of view. Make sense?) Cool colours (like light blue, white or green textures) would look nice.

As I don't know where you play your videos I'll go with the common cheat. There's a lovely little button at the superior right corner of your keyboard that says Prt Sc. Pause the vieo where you want and then click Alt+Prt Sc. Open an imaging program (MS Paint, Photoshop, Gimp) and paste it on a new file. You'll have to crop it out as Prt Sc is actually Print Screen so it took a pictorial of your whole screen. Enjoy.

Hi everyone! Well I'm new here (and already addicted, I might add), and I was hoping someone could help me out with an icon/ banner ....

I'm not entirely certain how (or who) makes them, but I would ADORE anyone who could make me an icon from the newest Where Will You Be teaser, with Peter and Olivia in bed ... there's this part where Olivia is smiling and Peter is looking at her with the most adoring look ... ugh, I love it!

For the banner, I was kinda thinking of something like this ... on one side, a picture of Olivia when she tells Peter that he has to come back because he belongs with her ... in the middle, the scene with the two of them in the bar where she has that *amazing* smile on her face ... and on the other side another good one of either Olivia smiling at Peter, or one of their intense looks. And somewhere in all that, the text "the beguiling Olivia Dunham" (because Walter calls her that the first time Peter sees her and is thunderstruck). :love0050:

I hope this isn't too detailed or demanding ... I would make them myself if I knew how or had any of the required editing software. I understand if it's too much or too specific, and a preemptive thank you to everyone!! :D

Here's a couple of quick 3d renders of the Massive logo as a sort of Medieval Fortress. Could be elaborated with additional ruins, knights, dragons, lightning, etc. . Though, I suppose, not exactly what you were looking for?

Ok, since my other request has been made by someone else... Here's another one:

I'm currently doing a fanfic where Peter is a doctor. Could someone make me a sig/banner with Peter wearing a doctor's coat? His stethoscope is either in his pocket or his lab coat or draped over the back of his neck. His ID license reads like this:

Peter Bishop, M.D.

This is where it could get kind of tricky because I'm trying to remember what medical ID's in Mexico look like. It's been a few years since I've seen one... Anyways, this is usually what's on it:
