Okay, I re-watched "The Box" tonight and noticed that our Walter quotes William Bell to Astrid, saying "Only those who risk going too far know how far they can go." He says that that's what Belly always used to say.
Fast forward 3 episodes later, to "Amber 31422". Their Walter (Walternate) says the same thing to Brandonate as they have Olivia in the tank.
We learned in one episode (I think it was Season Two) that apparently, the alternate universe William Bell died in a car accident as a young man.
Now, there is still the possibility that Walternate worked with the Alter-William Bell before the accident that killed Belly (if this car accident even happened.)
But there's also the possibility that they are referring that Alt-William Bell had the accident before he could work with Walternate.
So if Belly never worked with Walternate, then where did he get that quote from?
I've heard fans speculate that Alt-William Bell was never dead. But perhaps this is a little "seed" that the writers laid down that may be brought back in Season Four, addressing that perhaps Alt-Bell isn't dead. :observer:

walter has also said that bell is the one who introduced him to peters mother. so if alt-bell did die in an accident in the red verse how could he have introduced walter to peters mother? :confused0006:
