Hi I am new to this forum so please forgive me if this question(s) have already been asked and answered

1) Nina did not know wether or not Bell was getting her messages so in effect has had no contact with him for years so how did news of his death reach her and the rest of this universe?

2) Obviously Peter and Walter saw William sacrifice himself but would thier testimony alone be enough to report someone as dead especially as
i. There would be no body
ii. He died in an alternate universe who would believe that outside the fringe team on "our" side
iii How can they read an execute a will under these cirumstances?

My wife and I are late to this show and have been watching via box sets and have just watched up to this episode and this is really confusing us please help!!!! :P

Well, since the Fringe team directly witnessed Bell's sacrifice, they must have undoubtedly informed Nina of the events of the S2 finale.

As for the public, there was probably a cover story that gave a different, more "normal" spin on the circumstances of Bell's death.

Now, I don't know much about wills and testaments, and these things were never explicitly detailed, so I don't know if the writers have taken certain liberties; however, I think the above things were meant to be implicitly understood.

All in all, it's probably safe to assume that Nina was informed of Bell's death following episode 2.22 and that the true nature of Bell's demise was kept within the small Fringe circle. If this is not quite satisfactory an answer, then I'm afraid you'll just have to roll with what was onscreen. :P

In any case, I hope you enjoy the rest of S3. :tiphat:
