This is probably nothing, but anyone notice how similar the lights in MD were to those at the INtREPUS function in 1.06:

In the first scene when Mark Young walks into the meeting room, there are only seven people (other than himself) that I can count. When he is presenting, I count nine people (other than himself) at the table. Now the first shot might not show us everyone at the table, but is this discrepancy something we are supposed to notice? Perhaps they "panned" this second scene of everyone at the table just for that reason.... so we would notice the extra persons sitting there that weren't there when Mark Young first walked in.

Who is this other guy standing there? Is he a type of "observer"? True, he's not bald and doesn't have the "Observer swager" ---- but why is he standing there? Why show him to us? It made me wonder ---- was the Observer in this episode stationed in that hallway? Perhaps he wasn't just creeping around this time, perhaps he was on the job ! After all, he doesn't have his hat or briefcase. Maybe they're in his office !?! Maybe this other guy standing there works in the same "Department" as the observer, and seeing these people standing around is a normal thing for Massive Dynamic employees. Or maybe it's a normal thing on certain floors of the corporation --- floors that might be closed to others for security clearance reasons. Maybe for Mark Young and others they see them all the time and think nothing of it.... I know it might be a stretch, but it's fun to think about ...

And I was wondering if anyone thought the butterfly wings had any clues to them? I played with them for awhile but couldn't really see anything in them:

And lastly, I'm pretty sure these circles and symbols on Nina's wrist mean something. They vaguley resemble the infinity symbol, but I think that's too easy of an answer:

I'm not sure about that guy - he does seem a bit random standing there but he seems too non-descript to be anything more than background clutter. Could be wrong though.

The symbols on Nina's attire are interesting. Perhaps she's just super fashionable, or maybe they allude to some form of ancient symbolism. Will need to investigate further.

The real Symb OS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SymbOS) is currently in version 2.

The real-life Symbian OS v 9.3 came out July 2006, but of course is for phones and PDAs.
