So how do you think Peter and Rachel have formed this friendship. Obviously in the show they have only had two scenes together how did they end up on such friendly terms?
This has all happen behind Olivia's back was it Rachel texting Peter in "Inner Child"
My theory is that Rachel made the first move and whilst Olivia was busy saving the world her little sister was making her moves on Peter? :icon20:
Why the sudden decision to want to stay in Boston?
Who did she go house hunting with its not like she knows Boston that well?
Good Point, I wondered when they'd gotten friendly too.
I loved Olivia's reaction/jealousy to it though lol.
Hopefully it will be explained when their friendship developed though :hope:
It'll never last though :P

gillybee, your avatar is one of the nicest Olivia avatars I've seen!
Rachel's a secret agent working for the "Younger, Prettier Sister" Society, they're an insidious lot! :haha:

Thanks Cathy.
I am a younger sister but I didn't have those kind of problems with my sisters because I was such a tom boy they honestly thought that I had no interest in boys.
But to be honest I wouldn't have touched any of their boyfriends with a barge pole.

I can't understand Rachel.
I mean I'm a younger(prettier.. :D *vain*) sister, too, and precisely because of that I wouldn't touch my older sister's husband/boyfriend and snatch him away under her nose.(and because he's hers, and just.. hers.) I mean if my bigger sister get's a guy like that, I could alwaysget a better one.
Why doesn't Rachel think of that? :P
If she would think like that, I'd not have to hate her...
so much for my thesis....

She's a secret agent from the Annoy the Fans Society, one of the little kinks JJ could work out of his system a wee bit faster, for all of me.
I'm a younger sister too, and I adore my sister and wouldn't act such a lout to her as Rachel does. With any luck, the same giant squid that devours Harris will dispatch Rachel too. Or Greg will come into money and she will go crawling back to him, more likely.
<meow>
I've just discovered I like Harris better than Rachel. . .

As much as I want for Rachel to stay the hell away from Peter...I kinda wanna see where P/R goes...for the sake of stirring up things between him and Olivia. I can imagine Peter being closer to Olivia's family is gonna be an interesting direction for the show.
Dont kill me please. :boxedin:

Gillybee: Like you, when Rachel said she went house-hunting, the first thought that crossed my mind was "Oh, gawds, don't tell me with Peter?". And when she said she liked it in Boston, well.... ugh.
Oh, and I'm an older sister. I'm just thankful the younger one and I don't have the same taste in guys. LOL.

But that's the thing. Olivia and Peter at the moment are just friends, not boyfriend and girlfriend. They aren't even going out or engaged. So technically, Rachel hasn't really taken anything away, since Peter and Olivia are not going out.
Fans of the P/O shipping, please don't get mad at me. I'm just pointing things out. I myself have no interest in the P/O shipping anyway. So there is no hate coming from me on this subject, and no one, and I mean no one will ever convert, since there is nothing to convert. LOL

I think Rachel could have been a nice person if the writers hadn't made her sole purpose in life be to make us P/O shippers scream at the TV.

LOL. Well, depending on season 2, that all may change. Though one of the reasons why I have no interest is because the P/O shipping has practically overrun th FF.net category for Fringe. It makes me sad/angry because there are other characters that I want to read about :( And I can't and probably won't write fanfiction(I'm too afraid to). So now you know where a little of my dislike comes from. Plus, I'd never flame a thread because it has a pairing I dislike in it. What I said in the post you quoted wasn't flaming.
Well, the shipper forum isn't just for the P/O shipping anyway. From what I saw there are other threads in the Shipper Forum that aren't P/O.
I'm just stating my opinion, no need to hate me for it :(
Wow, now I don't really feel welcome here(forum in general) anymore :(

Raven, neither set goes out and drags others kicking and screaming into the shipping fora.
If the P/O idea makes you angry as you said-there are scores of other forums in fringe-forum you can find hours and hours of entertainment in.

Guys, calm down a bit. Raven, I don't think Elliot meant any offence when he said the shippers forum is for shipping. He wasn't hating, he was just explaining. You are definitely entitled to your opinion here, and I'm fully well aware that some people are quite anti-shippers because ships gain so much attention in TV shows, sometimes taking the focus away from other parts of the show. But everyone is welcome on this board, and there are plenty of subforums which different people can go depending on their own opinions. I think this was just a little misunderstanding; like I said, everyone is welcome on the forum.

Raven, I think you are a youngster so I will try to explain a little---the P/O shippers don't go to the J/O forum and diss their ideas, nor vice versa. And neither set goes out and drags others kicking and screaming into the shipping fora. Those things would be rude.
So, too, is coming into one of the shipper forums, dissing their ideas, and then saying we hate you when we disagree. That's a bit over the top.
If you 'dislike' the P/O idea---there are scores of other forums in fringe forum you can find hours and hours of entertainment in.
Lots of us participate in those too, but we don't demand everyone in every thread agree with us.
If you hang in the P/O forum and say you dislike the idea, that you will never never change, and that we hate you because you disagree-------you will be unhappy and spread your gloom around. You don't want that, do you? Be where you are happy. And accord us the same.
Wait what? O.o I'm 20 yrs old for goodness sake.....
And for the love of whatever, I am not dissing anything.
I'm thinking why I am such a grouch is because I'm starting to PMS -_- I'm not a happy person when I go through it D: And not only that, I am still grieving a bit(over a real living being, not some TV show character) :(
Anyway, sorry if I have offended you , Elliot, or anyone else here.

You might have to put that in lights as I see Agent Ketch Up hanging around for a bit if the teenage boys take to her assets. But I will give her a chance but if she steps out of line she won't find no love from me on these boards and we all no what happen to the last person we didn't like...........

I can't understand Rachel.
I mean I'm a younger(prettier.. :D *vain*) sister, too, and precisely because of that I wouldn't touch my older sister's husband/boyfriend and snatch him away under her nose.
But Olivia and Peter are NOT a couple. How Rachel stole Peter from Olivia?

She didn't steal him, but she was hitting on him just after her daughter was almost brain-liquified.
Even if she didn't know what would happen with Ella, I wouldn't flirt with my sister's colleague if something nearly happened to child, especially something I wouldn't have the clearance to know.

Rachel has no idea about these kind of things. She didn't know that her child was in danger.

Well, Olivia being all worried, and Ella wasn't moving or responding when she was repeating her name..... i would have worry !

Because she said that a hand came out of a screen? You can understand that in real life there is no parent that would ever believe the child in something like that.

That, and the fact Ella was yelling for her Mom's help and Rachel ignored her to keep playing at cooking in her sister's kitchen. That's not an excellent parenting mode. And the annoying calls about her divorce, during Olivia's work (she may not know what Olivia does, but she knows it's for the FBI, and serious.). She's going to be out of the picture soon, anyway, re-uniting with Greg I think, according to Josh.

Besides she's not a good cook, she admitted it herself.
Peter would love Olivia's cooking, I bet.
