Joshua Jackson claims the toughest part of his latest film was keeping the tension.
The former Dawson's Creek star appears in ghost movie Shutter, and he revealed it's harder to keep the audience hooked through the more subtle, haunting moments, than it is for gory scenes.
He said: "The major challenge of any horror film that's more creepy than blood, guts and gory is maintaining the audience interest.
"Setting that tone and stretching it out for as long as you can before you get to the end."
