It got a 10 from me. I was feeling 8 for about the first forty minutes, but they really blew it away in the final third.

9.5

It wasn't as exciting as "The Road Not Taken" but it did answer a ton of questions, but left us with a ton more :P

Yay, I say 9.5 which I round up to 10, not as good as "The Road Not Taken" but still amazing.

9.

I sort of feel this would have all seemed much better of an episode of instead of the next morning, it picked up at the very second The Road Not Taken left off and it became one very long day.

It kind of did, though, didn't it? I mean, it started with Nina being wheeled into the hospital, which couldn't have been -that- much after the last episode ended.

10. It felt epic. What a turn around from the episodes from the beginning of the season. Can't wait to see what's in store for the following seasons.

I was waffling between 9 and 10. It was 10, but I have a problem with the descriptor "Best fringe episode ever" with the 10. Part of me wants to reserve that until Fringe runs through all its seasons because only one episode can be the absolute best.

I still gave it a 10 because it was so incredible but I have a dilemma w/ the descriptor.

I gave it 9.

Jones' character was dumbed down compared to what he was in earlier in the season, especially in episode 14.

That kind of ruined the showdown scene for me. His death was way too early aswell.

Wheres the war? what was written will come to pass? i dont think so, it was pathetic, all down to a vendetta by Jones against Bell.

What were all the soldiers supposed to be trained for?. Seemed to me this episode was written by somebody who hadnt seen any of the previous ones, Jones is now killed off and with him i guess ZFT, not that ZFT came to much, 3 guys driving round in a van with balaclavas on.

Somebody here called it epic? yeah i dont think so

The war will probably start happening in the next season. There is going to be another season so if they finished it all off in this one episode, where would it go?

I said 9. Could have been a 10, but only 2 lines for Bell and Jones went out like a chump.

I thought it was so-so. I loved the info we got- but I hated Nina doling out info -it felt way too passive for too long and the Jones-Bell thing didn't resonate for me.

An 8. And excellent 8 of course!

I just felt it was a tad unbalanced. I think maybe I didn't want that many questions answered in one episode. It felt a little 'all or nothing'.

That said, finally meeting Bell was appreciated and felt at the right time, the Twin Towers angle was excellent and on the side of special effects, the dimension portal didn't disappoint.

It could of been so much better. So a very good episode from me. I really don't understand how everyone always thinks the latest episode is the best ever. Out of the series there has only been 4 maybe 5 top notch episodes and the rest ok to good. Don't get me wrong, I love the series, I just find you lot baffling.:haha:

I think the second half of the season has higher rated episodes, but not everyone has loved every single one of them. You should check out Midnight's ratings, I think they're one of the lowest in the series. I think you'll find that most people have a top 4-5 episodes that they absolutely loved, much like yourself.

Maybe the war is a story-arc. Shows like Buffy always has small battles at the end of every season but it wasn't until the series finale that it came together and a war was fought.

I really loved all the info that was revealed. (Peter's grave, not a shock, but nice to get confirmation on the theory)

My biggest nit-pick (aside from why the heck does Nina have kevlar grafted to her ribs? Convenient much?) is to rage against the Fox promo monkeys. We had Leonard Nemoy as William Bell on screen for, what, 15 seconds? Cool, but far far less than I had expected.

If that's my biggest beef (well, that and where the heck has Gene gone? We haven't seen her in a while now!) it's safe to say it was a strong finale.

i thought it was a 9 it was very good and very well written, i especially love how it ended off in the twin towers :P (i assume). i dont think that mr. jones is dead. i think that after he dies hell go right back to where he teleported from without any recolection of the events, that would be sweet. all an all very good

I don't think he's dead either. At least I hope not. Jone's is actually one of my favorite characters. Yes, I admit that. So I am hoping he is not dead :(

Why am I quoting this when my post is going to be probably under yours? I have no clue -_-

Oh and I voted 9

9/10. I thought Jones died way to early, and anyway, he is way smarter than that. But other than that, I thought it was great!

Currently a 10. Best episode so far. Simply because of the surprise factor at the end. The extraction of Olivia from this universe and teleportation to the WTC was very cleverly done.
