It says Obama moves into NEW White House. (Something happened to the old white house, presumably flight 93 did hit it's supposed target).

It says Former President Kennedy to speak at UN. (So he didn't get assassinated).

Celtics Lyn Bias won MVP. (He actually died before ever playing after getting drafted for to the Celtics).

And it says Stock Market Remains Closed. (Which isn't the case, and I don't know why it would be there).

Awesome catch, I barely noticed anything else on that newspaper. Lots of "subtle" differences leading to seemingly bigger gaps between our realities!

I don't think that the NEW White House is a result of an alternate result on 9/11. My reason for believing there is another reason the old White House is gone is because of the length of time that has past. If the White House was hit on 9/11 and now the Obama's are moving into the NEW White House then it took 8 years to construct. And considering that the Twin Towers were both completed in about 7 years back in 1966-1973 I'd have to say the White House wouldn't take nearly that length of time to build.

Yeah I agree, I think the white house thing was just something seperate. Then again, timeframe probably wasn't a huge deal in making that cover, since Len Bias would have been 46 years old, lol. Just a little item to point out the difference in realities. Also it looks like Obama has sons in that photo.

imagine the amount of debate over what to do to rebuild the white house... hell look what's going on with the wtc replacement, it's still just a vacant lot and there's still no certenty of what they're actually going to build there...

do you rebuild a replica of the original white house? do you build a different white house? do you even put it at 1600 pa ave? all this stuff is going to have to get voted on and lobbied for/against...

i'm surprised that it IS complete after only 8 years

Couldn't agree more - first thing I thought was all the ruckus about the "new" WTC which may or may not ever happen. Another (possibly more "out there") possibility...what if the terrorist attacks didn't happen on 9/11/01? We're assuming the "new" white house took 8 years to build based on the date of the attacks in our reality. Perhaps in the alterverse, they didn't happen until '05.

That said, I was slightly intoxicated while watching the episode and need to re-watch multiple times to see everything I inevitably missed.

It doesn't necessarily mean that. Remember that JFK, RFK, and Teddy Kennedy have all run for president. People just remember JFK because he's the one that won. RFK very likely would have won if he hadn't been assassinated. Teddy... well... It's probably JFK or RFK. ;) Just because there are alternate realities doesn't mean there are miracles! But seriously, it could also be Joe Junior, who was JFK's older brother that died in World War II. He was Joe Kennedy's favorite, and was expected to be the golden boy politically...

I give it 70% odds of referring to JFK, I'm just saying not to make assumptions.

That's pretty weak. They should have caught that before adding it in. There are plenty of other NBA things they could have changed that would have been just as crazy while still being (remotely) plausible. For example: "Clippers win NBA Championship!"

Although this episode was awesome i still have a few unanswered questions.

First of all, its says on the alternate/parallel universe newspaper that the stock markets remain closed??

Also, i think that Obama has a son and a daughter in the alternate universe....I have posted a pic for reference but i might be wrong..

As far as the hair goes I think it's only a shadow effect caused by odd lighting, that's all. Doesn't even really look like a haircut/style.

Well, actually the shadow is from the canopy of the place they are walking. The picture on the cover of the newspaper was taken just before.

Those aren't the same pictures. They look like they were taken during the same situation because it appears they are wearing the same clothes ------ but look at the placement of the people in the pictures. Obama's wife is looking somewhere else, the kids are slightly out of place, etc.

So they are likely suffering an economic depression much worse than what is happening here. Plus the burning buildings in Boston, the city in lockdown (rioting?), etc.

I would bet that the stock market being closed has to do with the bomb in Boston that alter-Olivia wasn't able to prevent from detonating. An interesting thought that I've had on this is that perhaps Peter was the catalyst to disarming that bomb, since in universe #1 he steps in behind Olivia just before she is able to disarm it, and there is obviously no Peter in the alternate universe.

I had a theory, even though people do live to their mid 90's, maybe former President Kennedy is actually Robert F. Kennedy. Since he was younger, he could have not been assassinated and lived to have been elected president.
