Near the end of the episode when we got a full view of the twin towers, I'm sure you all noticed the orange light being shined at us?

I didn't post this at first because I figured it was just from the sun and didn't mean anything, but then again, it was so blatant and in the same style as the blue lights. I figured it should at least have its own topic just in case.

So what are the orange lights? The opposite of the blue lights?

(P.S. sorry if anyone else already mentioned this I didn't see it)

If the blue lights are blue shift, which is be caused by something going away from us, orange lights would be red shift, which is something coming towards us. Like the oncoming war? I didn't notice the orange lights, but I'll have to watch again.

I saw those same Orange lights in the end, in the alternate universe in New York, :happy15:
Here's the picture :

Also, earlier in the thread, I noticed what was not orange lights , but immediately I was reminded when I saw the orange lights. Maybe the orange here may show the switching between realities or that both realities are inextricably bound, that they depend on each other?
Here is it anyways , it's when Peter is driving to their old home looking for Walter :

Orange is, in many mathematical color models, the "opposite" of blue or the complementary hue. Could just be that alternate worlds version of the blue lights. Blue + Orange (depending on the exact color and amount of each) can produce a grey-color. Maybe that has some symbolism in the grey portions between realities or the "soft spots" since grey is typically viewed as in "in between" of black and white reality.

Hah Yea a long time ago I made a post about the blue lights and speculated that we might eventually see some lights towards the red shift of the spectrum..specifically concerning an alternate dimension. And at the end of the Finale I definitely caught those lights too...Not sure if were being over-speculative and its just the sun, I guess we'll have to watch it again and analyze the source of the lights!

Nice catch, and although I'm usually onboard with any and all speculation, I'm going to have to say it was the sun :o:what:

I'm joining you there, after re-watching the ending. You can see the orange light, then it goes off due to one of the towers blocking the sun then it reappears when the sun is not blocked anymore.

I agree but when you consider the style in which it was done, the fact that orange is blue's complementary color, and that we've had light sources for the "blue light" in the past, it doesn't seem so far-fetched.

That reminds me of something. Maybe this is why the Cortexiphan people all have closet of gray clothes? That it symbolizes their ability to travel between the two realities?

wow.
thats a really good connection.
I remember that episode i think it was in "Bad Dreams" when Olivia is talking to another person who was tested with Cortexiphan and he was telling her that they told them to blend in and "the day would come when they would be summoned"
