Oh my goodness! :confused0066: THAT was AMAZING! It just keeps getting better and better! :faintthud:

Forget Bill and Eric....Godric is now my favourite! :faintthud:

I'll post more later but I just had to express my complete and utter love for this show!...and now for Godric! ;)

Good "True Blood" Fan, you! I'll be watching tonight, and Godric is now your favorite? Oh BOY, I can't wait!

I had to cheat and look again! Am I going to make it 6 more hours?
Hmmmmmmm.......Godric is 2 thousand years old. Looking at other famous "Godrics", it's a Anglo-Saxon name......

I just found his so refreshingly different to the other vamps! Like the polar opposite of Stan (whom I also loved!). So maybe he hasn't replaced my Bill/Eric worship but he's definitely giving them a run for their money! He just seemed so serene and calm, had a very strong sense of what he felt was right and seemed willing to die for that as he didn't want to harm a human! With Gabe's comment and what he said about the humans being so normal (can't remember his exact words), he seemed to have grown some kind of affection his captors and understanding of their fear and them! Truly truly LOVED him! It's such a shame that the next episode will be his last one - spoilers say Nan Flanagan gets involved and he sacrifices himself :(

Did anyone think he seemed to have lost his spark though from the Godric in the flashback? He seemed more spritely then but then again I suppose the flashback will have been a thousand years ago! He's bound to have changed somewhat! Maybe that's also part of why he sacrifices himself - as he's become apathetic to life now!

If anybody really minds it, I'll stop, but I'd like to be able to include previews to not be in spoiler brackets. They REALLY slow down the dialogue, I don't know what's going to happen on the show. And you dropped a couple of names from the books?

I'm not so sure it's because Godric is more apathetic now, I think he's probably 'become more evolved'. But it looks like Luke succeeds in blowing him up. Which would ignite the vampires. And it looks like Lorena may replace him, from the previews, which would really suck.

But, you're right, Godric is very interesting, as he seems to evolved in a couple of thousand years what it only took Bill a few decades to do. I hope Godric isn't dead. But if he is, and Lorena takes over, only Eric can save Sookie from Lorena.

Isn't it funny, the only time Eric looks unnatural is when he smiles. :haha:
Note to Alan Ball, Eric only looks cool when he doesn't smile, please don't make him do it any more than necessary. :haha:

I liked Sookie asking Eric if Godric was his maker, Eric says, "Don't talk about things you don't understand." "You seem to love him a lot." "Don't talk about things I don't understand." :haha: I'm not as opposed to it as I used to be, Eric has some nice moments with Sookie, whether she's interested or not.

Even for a Texas bunch, ;), they are some independent vampires. It doesn't bode well if something happens to Godric.

Somebody! Please kill Marianne!! :haha: :haha:

Yeah sorry I don't mind I just wasn't sure you would as it was kind of spoilery. Nan Flanagan isn't from the books (I don't think), she's the blond haired woman on the news all the time representing the vampires in the first series! I think she's the Head of the Vampire Rights movement and is in next weeks promo saying "This is a national vampire disaster" or something along those lines.

I obviously don't know but I don't think he does succeed in blowing Godric up as spoilers say he's sacrifices himself to keep the peace when Nan Flanagan gets involved. I'm not sure how that's going to work but there were reports from on set that they were filming a scene a while ago where a vampire is sacrificed at dawn, possibly Godric?

Oh no! Why do you think Lorena takes over? :confused0066: I really really hope not! I had a look at the promo again and couldn't see anything to suggest that! :confused0066::confused0066: Is that from the Comic-con info? Oh no I'm panicking now! :confused0066:

You know what?! I totally thought the same thing! He looks kinda freaky scarey when he smiles! He looks so much cooler when he's broody! Didn't you just love his hick accent/behaviour though? SOOOO funny! It's also funny that on the Comic-con videos his normal voice sounds closer to his hick accent than his Eric accent! :haha: I did a double-take when I heard him speak then! He totally suits his Eric accent more than his normal one!

I LOVED this scene! It was brilliant! I'm really not as opposed to these two as I was before either! Although my affections lie with Billy-boy first of course! ;)

Even for a Texas bunch, ;), they are some independent vampires. It doesn't bode well if something happens to Godric.

I loved those Texan Vampires! Stan especially! He really made me laugh! I loved how you could tell he wasn't really there to rescue Godric, he was just there for a fight, just like Isobel said! Tee hee! He's a lively one that one! And the smirk on his face when Lorena and Sookie were having their little show-down! He certainly loves a bit of trouble!

Somebody! Please kill Marianne!! :haha: :haha:

Oh god totally! I'm so over that storyline now! I kind of wish they hadn't told us what she was yet or maybe introduced her into the story a little later than they did as it's just dragging now! I know the finale involves her so her storyline will go on til then which I think maybe just a bit of overkill. But at the same time I love Michelle Forbes and her character, but that storyline doesn't seem to be going anywhere at the moment making it seem like it's dragging! I think it's the Tara/Eggs part that doing nothing for me, I just don't care anymore! (I HATED the heart pie! :sSic_yuk: I was pretty much gagging when I saw that bit!) But I still care about Sam's involvement - poor guy! So unlucky in love!

What about poor Jessica? Aw I felt so sorry for both of them! :( Hoyt's face bless him! He totally didn't know what to say! Bill's face bless him when he walked in on them! :lolol:

Ah, okay, yes she's the head of the Vampire rights movement.

Wow, what a Christ-like analogy.

*looks around nervously* I'm assuming D-roc won't mind us discussing previews not being covered with spoiler tags. Last season it was hilarious how the True Blood previews purposely misled us about what was going to happen.

*THAT'S* where I got the idea of Lorena taking over, there's a very quick shot of a woman smiling evilly and leaning back on a chair that looks like it's at Godric's place, so don't freak out yet. It could be TOTALLY wrong, which is where those hilarious previews come in!:haha:

Oh no! Why do you think Lorena takes over? :confused0066: I really really hope not! I had a look at the promo again and couldn't see anything to suggest that! :confused0066::confused0066: Is that from the Comic-con info? Oh no I'm panicking now! :confused0066:

See above.

I hope it's just Alexander playing Eric that makes smiling look awkward. I remember Alexander smiling a couple of times during the SDCC panel, he looked more relaxed. But he does look better, somber.
Funny that dad Stellan has a very warm smile (which can also look pretty evil, check out "Ronin"!)

I LOVED this scene! It was brilliant! I'm really not as opposed to these two as I was before either! Although my affections lie with Billy-boy first of course! ;)
I was arguing all over the boards with the Eric fans ("Viking Whordes" :lolol:), but you don't mess with those girls. Imagine if the Shippers here, instead of going, "I love Peter so much", were going,
(I LUUUUUVVVVVVEEE PETER SOOOOOO MUCHHHHHH!!:elmodance2::party0011::love0050::hehe: :omg::ohyeah::love0046::icon_blushing::wink3::@787 @::broccoli::lurve::bliss::seesaw::carrot: :haha: :haha: :haha:

The actor playing Stan also does a recurring role as a smooth talking ex husband on "Eureka", I'm in a bit of a rush right now, I'll try to look up his name later. I don't think Godric trusts him, if you look at the way he regarded Stan at his party.

What about poor Jessica? Aw I felt so sorry for both of them! :( Hoyt's face bless him! He totally didn't know what to say! Bill's face bless him when he walked in on them! :lolol: That's a strange predicament, I can't think of how they're going to get out of that dilemna.

Gotta go, will be back !:D

Here's msnbc's take on the episode (which I'm glad they're doing this season for an unknown reason),

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32360919/ns/entertainment-television/ (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32360919/ns/entertainment-television/)

Yup, Ed Quinn plays the dubious Stan. He plays the suave-with-a-hint-of-humor Nathan Stark on "Eureka". Nathan Stark is not on this season, but probably not out of the loop for good.

Back to the article, do you suppose my new signature should be,

"The War has Begun, you Evil Whore of Satan!" :haha:

I don't know ....Godric looked a bit like a hobbit.:D And it's always funny to see how tall Alexander/Eric is. When he was standing next to Bill, Bill looked sooo small*lol*.

And I so much love Jessica and Hoyt, I mean aren't they cute? But Jessica is awesome, even though I felt sorry for her...
