I wasn't all that excited about the finale at first - partly because I don't want it to end and partly because it wasn't so great on sunday! But I'm all excited again now - check this new promo out:

Is that Egg holding a bloody knife? Why is Sookie saying she's sorry? Poor little Sammy is crying - I just want to hug him! I don't like it when Bill is all demanding to Sam! Why can't he give him a choice?

So, I'm wondering what will happen.

Bill is going to turn over Sam (Sam reluctantly agrees). There's a brief shot of Maryann in white, with a garland in her hair, looking pretty darn excited.

But, I wonder how they're going to convince her The One Who Comes, has Come? Kinda sad she has obtained immortality, but all she wants is death at the hand of her god. :confused0006:

That's what the Queen said. We don't know that Maryann seeks her own death. Personally I disagree. I think it's more like a "marriage" or a unity with her god.

What I want or what I believe it will happen? Cause that's different.:D

I want Maryann to stay for a 3rd season but after the last episode I think that Bill will try to kill her.

How about a compromise? BOTH versions.

I just don't think Maryann is going to let Bon Temps survive, that's the only thing I have against her. Your choice of favorite characters are interesting, all female. I only recently found out you were male. :o

Here's another take on the season, they were more enthusiastic about this year than I was.

Please don't get me wrong. I don't want to fall into that category of "fans who love a show so much they pick it apart". I don't want to be that kind of fan about any show.

I preferred Season One to Season Two, but I'm ready for an Exciting Finish!

Here's another take on the season, they were more enthusiastic about this year than I was.


Personally I liked the second season, it had a lot of Maryann. But apart from this it also had many other things like the Fellowship of the Sun. It didn't have much of Sookie but I don't really care because I like Jessica more.:D

All the more reason for you to check out their article. They compared it to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", which is hallowed ground for me. Well, a couple of seasons are hallowed ground, anyway.

I didn't watch Buffy so I have no idea about that. But I agree with the article that it was a cool season.:happy15:

Aw cr@p sorry hun! I'm so rubbish at replying to threads! :greet008: (<---- that's me waving back at you Cathy but without the christmas-style hat! ;) ) I've been here but only briefly here and there - my thesis is due in this week so it's all hands on deck! Nearly there though! :hope:

I might actually cry that this is the finale day! But I can't wait at the same time - How are they going to conquer Marianne? What does Eric have to stop Bill from doing? What the hell is that Egg thing? I read somewhere that someone hypothesised it has something to do with Eggs - hence his name! :confused0006:Or is that too obvious? Can't wait to find out!

And then that's it for another year! :faintthud:I can't believe it's coming to an end and I have to wait a WHOLE YEAR til the next series! :faintthud:Will I cope? I just don't know! Fringe might help though! ;)

I think his name is Benedict, hence the "Eggs" name. But I doubt he makes it past the finale, for no real reason. You just know some folks are going to die. I just hope it isn't Sam!
