I think that "The Storm" is JJ Abrams way of incorporating the forcast of the speculation of 2012.
According to the predictions were are going to have climate change and a parallel universe, which most scientists believe there will be a capability of time travel.
I thought this would be a interesting topic to discuss. I find it fasinating how well thought out Fringe is, just amazing.
