View Full Version : Walter the Match Maker
In "The Bishop Revival", Walter told Peter that Agent Dunnham was perfect for him (Peter) because "she can see right through you." Well now, after "Jacksonville", Olivia really can see right through Peter.

I love Walter's giddiness to get Peter and Olivia together. I think he was the first Benchwarmer. lol
Then agian, I think he's just anxious to see his son 'settle down' in the first place...

I think he wants Peter to establish roots in this universe so he won't want to go back to his own.

Hm, good idea. Honestly, I had never really wondered why Walter was so keen on the two together other than the fact that he simply enjoyed the company of the both of them... But having Peter 'settle down' would make him less likely to go back.
How very smart of Walter.... :P

Walter is just plain adorable when it comes to Peter and Olivia.
"Do you think she'll call me Dad?"
How cute was THAT?!
BTW, I'm Meegs and I'm new here. SO excited to be a part of the forum! :)

That's very true, but I meant... Our Walter's Peter died...so I think that's also why Walter's so excited to see Peter simply live his life. Every moment with Peter is precious to him...

I also love Walter's giddiness, especially when he said "Do you think she'll call me Dad?" And he looked so happy when he heard Peter would go for a drink with Olivia :haha:
I agree with you all...he enjoys life with both of them and Astrid of course (coz Astrid can accompany him when Peter with Olivia :P ). The other reason, I believe, if Peter settle down, he will forget to go back to his world. I also think Walter misses his old days with his family. So many things happen and all make him appreciate family more.

Wow. I never thought of that lol. Good idea. That's probably why he's been "pushing" it lately. Not that I can complain :P

That scene was heartbreaking. Walter was simultaneously excited and anxious. You could see it on his face when Peter told him he'd rather Walter not answer the door, and that he'd rather Walter be somewhere else. You could kind of see Walter being the one to greet Olivia so he could warn her, and you could see his excitement about the date, but his anxiety because he knew that Olivia would know.
