During the American Civil War, people in the South would trade their last morsel of food for a small sack of coffee beans because they couldn't get it due to the blockade of their ports.

I have green coffee beans in storage just in case the world goes to heck or there is a shortage. I actually once stopped dating a guy that despised coffee (among other reasons,lol!)

This is one of Peter's quirks that I can totally get. And I can forgive him, if coffee was the real reason he came back. I'd leave too, even with all the tech advances.

A banner that says "No coffee? Well, screw you guys, I'm going home" would be awesome. ;)
