I have just watched this episode again, and it looks like the Observer at the end is wearing a BLACK suit instead of a grey suit. Am I imagining things? Is it just a trick of the lighting?

If he actually IS wearing a black suit instead of grey, I wonder if he is a member of a DIFFERENT group of Observers? I have long wondered if maybe there were TWO groups of Observers, one for each universe. If I remember correctly, all of the Observers we have seen in the past have been wearing GREY suits, and seem to be from our universe, the Blue Universe. If this Observer is wearing a BLACK suit, maybe he is from the RED Universe. :confused0066:

This reminds me of an old Mad comic called "Spy vs. Sp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spy_vs._Spy)y"

Looks dark gray (look at the reflection of the light in his hat for the true color), but I wouldn't read into this at all. Charcoal, navy, gray all look black in the dark.

I always thought the suits were black rather than charcoal; it takes looking closely to tell the difference. In "August", I was surprised to see December wearing light gray.

Maybe their suit color fits their mood?

He wore a gray hat with a black band. The suit was 'shiny' and appeared less than black on my TV. But then Samsung LCDs aren't known for their blacks.

I think it was gray although many times on TV dark colors appear black.
