I gave it an 8. I liked it a lot. I love seeing what our side would do if a vortex formed, and seeing Olivia and Peter close it without having to use the amber. It was a nice reminder of season 1 with the bus accident. I also loved Walter playing Cupid. The only reason it didn't get a 9 were that it could have had a bit more going on - more plot or side plots. But I really enjoyed this episode. It's been a lot better than the last few episodes!

I gave it a 9, only because I wanted Bolivia to see Peter with Olivia on the other side of 6 B...call me the angst queen - I want it coming and going.

8 - Solid even though it was a tad predictable.

A strong 8. There was a very nice balance in tonight's episode. It had romance without being too soapish, and had enough Fringe-ness to satisfy the average Fringe fan but not too much to scare off the average joe. I was very happy, especially from the last two episodes. I believe Fringe is rebounding back.
But what made me even more excited is the promo for next week's episode. :happy15: Little Peter is gonna be so cute!

A big fat 9 for me loved the call backs to early episodes and the P/O at the end was sutle not the slut feast that Fauxlivia and Peter was.

Solid 9 from me...although it is closer to 9.5. Only reason I did not give it a ten ... not enough Astrid and I did not quite understand the quantum entanglement thingie.

Much love for this ep. :D

Out of this World - 9

The whole Episode was beyond awesome.
From Walter to Finally getting POlivia together...While I still think that now Our Olivia will become Pregnant, because I'm sure they'll go to bed more then once!

I gave it an 8. Loved Walter's cupid thing. I wish they would have given us a bit more suspense by waiting until next episode to "go upstairs".

Aye, that's a 9.

Because of the absolutely amazing story too and not because they're now shagging...

Really liked it, great plot, furthered the meta-plot and Walter was stellar. Huge improvement from last week.

I gave it a 9.5 and rounded up. First episode I've ever given this high a score. I found it simply wonderful, from the personal interactions to the compelling story. This was quintessential Fringe. :)

I was wondering the same thing. Although I have to say I would rather our Olivia not get pregnant. I think it would complicate things way too much, and she doesn't seem like a child would be a good idea for her at least right now.

from me, fantastic episode easily seasons best. If it wasn't for my love of s2e16 'Peter' and the fact the poll states '10 - Best Fringe Episode EVER!!' I'd of given 6B a 10. What a difference a week makes, the moment Peter & Olivia walked upstairs to Velvet Undergrounds Pale Blue Eye's will be one of my all time faves from the entire series.

I really enjoyed this episode.
I loved the story but I am a sucker for romantic stuff with old people =)

And even though I a Altlivia/Peter shipper I enjoyed the bar scene very much. I just don't get why Olivia gave it up so fast to Peter. That's why it's only a 9 for me.

I will allot this episode 8 coin tosses.

It was a great improvement over the previous two installments. :happy15:

My only major gripe was the pre-ending. Olivia leading Peter up the stairs totally took me out of my immersion in the episode. When I realized what was going on, I was all WTF?? It was the corniest thing I've ever seen. XD

Oh, well. It'll all be going to hell for them soon enough...:shhh:

A solid 9 from me.

I loved the old love story and the flash to the Other Side so we now know that there may be other ways of containing the black holes rather than just amber-ing everyone left, right and center! I really liked the see Walter battling with himself too and realising that maybe Walternate isn't as evil as he always thought but had to make impossible decisions to save Over There.

And Polivia was a nice little bonus too! :P

I really loved this ep. So why did I only give it a '7?'

I'm not thinking right. But I liked the idea of love/strong emotions forming a connection between the two universes. All the innuendo and name-dropping (Schrodinger's). Walter coming closer to his alternate self.

I guess the only thing I didn't like as that scene at the end. Now don't get me wrong. I love the old oak panelling, newel-posts, and stairs in turn-of-the-century homes. I just didn't think that two people should be walking up them. Though I think the idea of Olivia taking the lead makes sense. She saw quite a bit during that ep, much more than anyone except the old lady could see. So maybe I'm wrong.... no! I'm right, I liked this ep! I'll just concentrate on that rich oak grain rather then those two figures....

Though I guess it plays into next weeks ep. So we'll see.... destiny.

Dreadful.

Screenplay was amateurish and some of the dialog was awful - Peter's little speech to save the universes wins the Barf Bag Oscar with miles to spare.

Phrases like, "emotional quantum entangelment" will mark the point at which Fringe's storyline and credibility as a sci-fi show hit the fan.

This whole episode shifted a good parallel universe phenomenon into a parallel emotional tie story - aka a love triangle. If all things Fringe now turn out to relate to a P/O effect or worse, just allude to their multi-universal love, I'm outta here.

Oh look, there's a picture of two people having fun...P/O...and there's another couple who've been together for 40 years...P/O...and what about those kids, wouldn't that be something?...P/O...ghaah, where's my shotgun...P/O.

And finally, as if it weren't enough to mutilate these so well-crafted characters, we get the final nail in the coffin of the character, Olivia-the-nun, as she drops her knickers for pancakes.

The incidental music wasn't bad so I gave it 1.
