What will happen with Peter and Olivia when the Babybomb drops?

I wonder how Peter and Olivia will react when they hear the news. Will they stay together, will Olivia drop Peter like a brick or will she help him in anyway she can ?

Here's a wild theory. Since our Olivia had *assuming* coitus with Peter, maybe she could be preggers too! :haha:

I had the same idea... It would then make it hard for peter because if and when he finds about Alt Oliva's baby it will then put peter in a position where he has to make a choice. What child means more.

I don't think they'll make Olivia pregnant. I feel like it would lose some of the drama if that were both pregnant.

As for what will Olivia do? I think that mostly depends on what Peter does. She wont bail just because Fauxlivia is pregnant.

I'm fully expecting Olivia to become pregnant as well, which would make Peter's choice even more difficult. What I DON'T want to see is Olivia and Peter breaking apart again when they find out that Fauxlivia has a baby in the oven. That would be unbearably tedious.

I don't know if you are aware of Fringe symbols shown during each episode, but one of them is an apple and when you have a closer look it contains 2 small baby embryos which could suggest 2 babies. Have a look at this picture and you'll see it! It is very interesting to think about it. On the other hand, I don't think the writers and producers of Fringe do make visible and predictable steps in the story, so who knows if Olivia will be really pregnant. What do you think???

I'm *hoping*:hope: that they're through with the trust issues, and that their relationship is strong enough that they can get through it. The two scenarios I see as being most likely (without getting into the Olivia being pregnant issue), is Olivi trying to help him in whatever way she can, or Olivia breaking up with him in a selfless act to prevent him from having to make an impossible choice.

I'm hoping that Peter and Olivia will have cultivated such a strong relationship that even this will not drive them apart. What I'm trying to figure out is how Peter will react. Given his bad lineage of fathers, he's probably the one who will want to break the cycle and be a good dad; but these circumstances I don't think allow him to simply give up Olivia for Fauxlivia and the other universe to raise his child. What I think will happen, though, is that he will therefore work to find the middle-ground answer, to end this war between worlds peacefully and without more innocents dying needlessly.

At least, that's what I'm hoping for. Should he, as the father, drop everything and go be with his child, yes probably, but I don't think it will be practical nor would it work when everything he cares about is over here.

I guess highlighting that Alice and Derek had children in one universe and no children in another can shed light into Olivia, Bolivia and Peter's situation.

But if Olivia do become pregnant, then we could be revisiting what was shown in Immortality, whichever Olivia Peter chooses will lead to that universe surviving. Surviving = another step closer to immortality? That universe will no longer be challenged and can stay forever?

Maybe the babies will ensure Peter's bloodline too. Immortality can be interpreted that way also I guess.

Frankly I would have never expected they would do the predictable and make Altliv pregnant so I wouldn't be surprised at all if the do the predictable again.
Wasn't so keen on the baby thing first but now if Ourliv would be pregnant too I wouldn't mind.
