Where did the blue flashes go? If they truly signified interaction between 2 universes then shouldn't this episode have been replete with them? The same could be said about the entire season I think.:confused0006:

The blue flashes fulfilled their "purpose" I suppose. We saw so many of them at first, because we didn't know exactly what they were and could only guess at their signifficance. Once it was revealed exactly what they signified ... no need to keep teasing us with it.

They lost their magic ;). So no need to keep overdoing it with them now the rabbit is out of the hat.

It's not about consistency ... it's about how to effectively entertain the masses lol. And you don't keep them entertained by performing the same tricks over and over once they have been discovered :)
