Tailchaser's Song - Tad Williams
"Where dark woods hide secrets,
And mountains are fierce and bold,
Deep waters hold reflections, Of times lost long ago." - Julie Fowlis
Reading: Fringe The Zodiac Paradox and Wool by Hugh Howey.
Walter: "She tricked my son with her carnal manipulations and he fell right into her vagenda."
"The Space Merchants" by C.M. Kornbluth and Frederick Pohl. Written
in the 1950s, this dystopian future depicts a society dominated by unethical
advertising corporations, given to such dirty tricks as putting drugs in
foodstuffs to get the customers hooked. Full of clever satirical
digs at the less pleasant side of advertising, still relevant today.
