It wasn't Olivia's funeral for me, because I assumed that the point of this future was that Peter was going to see that he needed to change it, and do so. So it didn't seem real, kind of like the Lost sideways.

(And to the comment about Olivia's Cortexiphan abilities - I think Walternate's gunshot happened way too fast for her to do anything about it. I barely even had time to blink, and I knew it was happening.)

I think the power/energy blast, from earlier, temporarily made Liv less psychically aware. If she 'senses' danger, she immediately takes out her pistol instinctively, as a precaution. I think Walternate specifically made this 'hit', hard to stop. Realize, the man isn't Clint Eastwood, he can't beat Olivia in a quick draw but he can game the system to his advantage.

Interesting; I was wondering what that blast was. I figured it might have been a distraction so the End Of Dayers could start disintegrating the amber (is that what they were doing?), but that may have played a part in it too.

Now, I know a lot of people are probably going to disagree with me on this one and say that it was Olivia's funeral, but the part that easily had me the most choked up had to be Walter and Ella reminiscing about Gene.

I don't know why, but it really hurt to see her empty room in the future.

For me it was the conversation about the cow. What happened to poor Gene? Is she still in an evidence locker somewhere?

When Walter gets lost in China town and starts talking to the old lady sitting next to him. So sad. *wipes away a few tears*

i can't decide which is sadder s2 ending or s3 ending for our fav couple
s2 left me wanting to scream while very sad but more angry
s3 left me desolate and feeling hopeless like the joy of saving both universes (well an alternate solution) was downed by the realization that they effectively erase this great love story!
really left you wondering what was going to happen in season 4 which by the way turned out incredible, i just love how this show stimulates my brain , well needless to say i feel a bit better a year later now after s4 ending
