What is the Worst Storyline?

Bolivia's pregnancy hands down. Of course I'm still not sure it's really hers since she was lucky that she made the crossover intact...doubt an embryo or fetus would have survived crossing over like that. If it turns out to be ourLivia's kid then I'd change it to best storyline.

I'm a P/O shipper, but that's not why I chose the Bolivia pregnancy, at least not entirely. One of the things I love about Fringe is the twists that I just don't see coming. They're really good a surprising me. With the pregnancy, I think most of the audience saw it coming a mile away. Anyone who's ever seen a soap knows that when a guy sleeps with the wrong girl, of course she ends up pregnant. I had really hoped they wouldn't do the obvious thing.

The pregnancy, because the my suspension of disbelief was stretched far too thin, and it spat in the face of previous storylines AND tenets of the show.

Matter not being created or destroyed was a pretty big deal on Fringe, and while yeah, sure, gravity stopped working during this arc so all bets for physics were off....no.

Rapid acceleration for pregnancy? Sure! Creating a baby and placenta through only the nutrients in an IV drip without any real harm to the mother (I don't care how advanced some of their medicine is, she would not have been that okay so soon)? No.

1 The Peter/Fauxlivia/Olivia- Peter's entire existence, his good qualities that made him special was all ignored, just to drag out this storyline.

how could it *possibly* be Ourlivia's kid? Unless Walternate impregnated Altlivia with genetic material he got from Ourlivia, but that would be pointless; He had Peter in the redverse already, already had Altlivia, and had to take OUT her DNA to make it Peter's DNA anyways for the machine, so as convulted as the storyline is, i think it is pretty blatantly clear that she became pregnant, dirctly from Peter, while in the Blue-verse. I know its Fringe, but we don't ALWAYS have to over-think...

i agree that altlivia's pregnancy was redundant, especially how EASY it was to deliver so quickly.. wow badda boom a few shots and 9 mos of labor out the window! But I honestly feel that the pregnancy was necessary for how else was Walternate going to turn on the machine without Peter? It just makes sense.

BUT! My vote for the worse storyline would be Kiddy Olivia and kiddy Peter meeting and having these special moments in a field of flowers GAG!

Given that her pregnancy was only meant to get Walternate Peter's DNA and nothing more, I wouldn't say it was the worst story line, just a throw away one at best. Not meant to go anywhere really. Just think of when they did the "prophecy baby." thing in the X-Files *gags*, be thankful Henry no longer exists.
