Beyond The Fringe - New Digital Comic Series

i just re-read the description for the comic "The Visitor" and it completely gave me a headache trying to piece it all together.... the possibilities are endless..... why don't Walter's stories match up with "reality" - the scientists were janitors, not scientists, etc... cover up... altered timeline... other universe?? was the Visitor sent by Bell? a rogue? he has a neural extractor? he can teleport? he wants to know about the Observers? Walter is warned by a clean shaven, casual version of himself? how does it all fit together?!

there is an earlier comic that has time travel, too.. not just the nazi one... but the guy who gets knocked out and robbed, turns out he robbed himself...


Gahhh. Fringe could go for another 5 years easily....

Dude .... I started to reply to some of your posts, but I need to re-read the things myself again now I think, in their entirety, before doing so.

But yes ..... I think if Fringe took off in the direction the comics started going, it may have stood another couple of years at least. Less "who is Peter going to screw" arcs and more history/sci-fi/wtf arcs directly. The Fresh Start Soap Company would have been awesomeness in the show. Arguably, it's parallel seems to be akin to Kelvin Genetics.

I'm going to try and re-read them over the next few days ... I have hard copies of all of them, including the prequel (squees just a bit) ^_^

Looking forward to it. I only have read what I've tracked down on line, so don't hesitate to be wordy and descriptive in your replies. I've only read the original set of comics (not the 2nd or 3rd run).
