I can't wait for season 2. Fringe is still my fav, but POI has much more potential I believe. For those who missed it, please give season 1 a watch. IMO the best show of the year.

    What did other ppl think?

Non-shippers would likely enjoy this show as there is no shipping at all!! lol It's probably why I love it so much. Just pure awesome, action, and some amazing twists. But at the same time the characters are all coming togather.

OMG, AWESOMENESS ABOUNDS!!! >That's what I thought!

I knew early on that the "number" was a setup but I had no clue (until Alicia started talking to Finch) that the one behind it was the "Doc". Particularly didn't make the root connection until the computers broke down. I guess I was too distracted with the whole Carter/Fusco/HR getting blown stuff.

Been madly in love with this show since the beginning. No just 'cause I love pretty much everyone in the cast (and have had an intellectual crush on J Nolan for over a decade), but because this is taking the concept of Brin's transparent society for a spin and taking an ubbergenius and a super-spy along for the ride. Like, how can you go wrong with that mix?!

LOL, I hadn't thought about the shipping angle. Did think that Zoe and John had/have hot chemistry, but not, you know, romantic vibe or anything.

Ya I didn't figure it out until the same point as you pretty much. So well done. I do agree that Zoe and John have good chemistry, but not much has transpired as of yet. Maybe in future seasons?

I am glad that others are watching POI, and like I said, if you haven't watched it yet, give season 1 a try.

Yes, the payphone part at the end was pretty unreal. The writing of this show is something I can truly appreciate. No offense to Fringe, but you can see such a big difference in the quality and continuity in POI. Like I said, the premise of Fringe is something I totally love, so it is still my fav, but the more I think about it, the more POI is becoming close to passing Fringe on my rankings. It all depends on how Fringe wraps up next year.

Regarding "root", I love the idea of a hacker to go against Finch. Next season the beginning arc will clearly be John working with the machine on his own, while trying to locate Finch. I cannot friggin wait. What's her endgame? I honestly don't know. Your suggestion of wanting control of the machine seems to make sense. Maybe it is as simply as $, as usual. Maybe a terrorist nation is paying her to access control of the machine for some reason?? No clue really. Your guess is as good as mine... but I know it'll be awesome to watch.
