I don't know the glyphs, but if it's limbus (and I don't mean to be condescending in anyway, but I don't know if it's common knowledge)...that's probably a reference to the corneal limbus, which borders the white of your eye and the lens. It may be associated with rejuvenation: it's a common site for cancers, which I think indicates that it's the part of the eye with the fastest cell turnover or basal cells.
Even though it's almost always used (in my experience) with the eye... it is may just be indicating a border or bridge area or the outside of of something. The fringe!
