How disconcerting. I would love nothing more than to contribute to the amelioration of ratings, but alas, I don't have the means.

How in the world does this show not get better ratings??!! Tremendous acting, intelligent scripts, a mix of both standalones and story arcs ... I just don't get it.
Oh well, if this is the last year then it's the last year. 4 years of quality shows are good for any TV series.
I don't know if it's because of that. The ratings were low long before that, plus people -and I see it a loooot on Tumblr, are just more than happy with their little Lincoln fantasy *facepalm* (not me, I want Peter back...)
Seth Gabel, he's cute and all, but he's not Joshua Jackson. The show is definitely not the same without him, it's missing it's magic. The chemistry between Olivia, Walter and Peter was magical, so with Peter not being around it's not that wonderful. The thing is, for us, it's easy, cause we won't give up on the show now, we wanna know where's Peter and when he'll be back, we're maybe too into it. But a person who's never seen the show up until now will notice the lack of that 'little something' and I don't know if they'll be able to feel so hooked up to the show the way it is...
Like I said, it's been a great episode, this week's, for an episode without Peter, but I don't know if other people will perceive it the same way
What if you and I, both of us, at this very moment were being manipulated?
!@#$%^&*! I see something very wrong with this picture here! I'm not like most people who go out on Friday night... As I've said in another site, when the work week is done, I don't want anything to do with going out anywhere... I'm too tired and all I wanna do is go home kick back, have some Red Vines and some popcorn and watch me some Fringe! *Hopes that weather will get really nasty next week so people will stay in...*
~Mancha~
I knew this would happen. There are a lot of people who switched off after losing Peter at the end of Season 3.
The show is now so hard to follow if you've never seen it before, this reset has now made it even more complicated, not simplified it for newcomers like the writers like to think.
Thank goodness for Peter coming back in two episodes time as hopefully this will draw people back.
If it's any consolation, last weeks ratings went up by 40% after DVR numbers were added so hopefully we'll have a more promising picture in a few days time.![]()
*Glad that I don't peek @ the normal dashboard, it sure will give me a heart-attack {all those screaming hormones....*Facepalm indeed!*} & I am going to keep focused on my Blog + Google+ account. Best thing i can do is keep on promoting Fringe....
I really hope they don't cancel it during the season....

All you really need to do to understand the nation's attention span (perhaps the worlds,' don't feel like I should exclude other countries, but also can't speak for them, and also am not just jumping on the fat-dumb-american stereotyp) is watch the Facebook comments on the episode.
I feel like sometimes, as invested fans... we are used to to talking amongst a more engaged audience. Sure we have varying levels of interest and intelligence and insight.... and don't all tune in for the same elements of the show, but by and large we are a much....brighter.... segment of the interwebs and tv audience.
The comments from people who like the show enough to FB friend or follow it, but clearly don't really *watch* it....are astounding. They will write the show off quite quickly because they don't get it.
And I don't mean they can't follow all the logic (neither can I, most days). I'm not saying they are missing fan jokes because they are new, or watch it while distracted (I've done it). I mean, sometimes I wonder if we're even watching the same show.
So much happened here. And so much is about to.
