Sorry, this was meant to be in the disappointed thread.

It was an okay ep. Every time I see that Doctor from St. Claire's he reminds me of the sick Psychologist from Silence of the Lambs. Which is fitting to me.

The point when Olivia showed Walter the drawing genuinely took me by surprise and was a great moment.

    Well, well, well!

Good episode... and we have more to go on now regarding the mythology of the rewritten timeline. Walter did indeed cross over to 'Redverse' to save alt-Peter with no interference from September coming back to 'Blueverse' - instead he[Peter] drowned. This also goes some way to explaining the rupture in the fabric of Redverse, shown in last week's episode with the presence of an amber quarantine. Alt-Peter's kidnapping may also have been the catalyst behind the current animosity between Walter and Walternate. More to come.

TBH I'm enjoying these romance-free episodes Walter's character has been downplayed yet is still very effective. I liked the 'I'm a busy man' thing - cut to - tin foil hats and strawberry shakes. The scene between Aaron and Walter where Walter pleads with him to let go of Gus was touching, even more so the final moments of the episode with Olivia. A big to John Noble on a potent performance and to the director who gently sculpted the scene.

So Peter did exist! It has now been confirmed. And he [both Peters] died. Ok. So all is as it should be, although Olivia is 'seeing' Peter as well now. Wyman and Pinkner have revealed in a recent interview what Peter's intentions will be upon his already telegraphed return which raises further questions about the Observers and their implied effectiveness - or lack of it. Lots of interesting stuff to chew on.

I liked 4.03, am hoping for a great season considering that this may be the one to end it all. If, however, the current quality levels are maintained or bettered, then I'll be placarding for another season for sure.

Retlaw: "Lincoln. I'm waiting for you to rip open that shirt and bust out the superman outfit!"

I can't believe that I hadn't noticed that yet. Haha!

interesting that David Fury was the only writing credit

don't Fringe eps usually have 2-3-or-4 writers, hell i think i seen 5 writing credits on 1 episode before...hmm

i figured it'd be at least 2 collaborating, maybe one does the main story and the other does the b-story, i think you end up with an overall better episode

i know everyone collabs anyways, but i was just saying

Yeah, there are usually at least two writers who write an episode.
However, considering he was solo in this episode, I say David Fury did pretty good!

I was SO happy when Olivia finally revealed that she's been seeing Peter in some form as well. I felt so bad that Walter was the only one seeing him and thought he was going crazy.
I started to wonder if Fauxlivia and Walternate are seeing him too. I hope they show that in the next episode becuase they should. I'm also thinking it would cool if Fauxlivia is starting to remember her baby. She would have had an even closer connection to her son than to Peter.

I love that they're starting to do more character development with. Lincoln. ^_^ You're really starting to see the differences between the 2 Lincolns. At the beginning of the episode you can see that our Lincoln is much more reserved and introverted than their's. When Olivia reaches out to him and says he can talk to her about all this new weird stuff he's just found out about. He calmly says he's not freaked out at all, that he's fine. I really like Lincoln as a platonic relationship for Olivia like she had with Charlie.

Loved the episode, intriguing to say the least but the best bit of it all for me was seeing Olivia not wearing a suit. Casual clothes whilst investigating a case....surely a first?
