This is a 9! Its like Fringe is finally back and all is right with the world. The awful part is now I have to wait 2 weeks for the next episode. I don't get how shooting off a gun is getting Peter into Reiden Lake.
I gave it a 9. My initial reaction was "f***ing mind-boggling". Reiden Lake, where the redverse Peter died in the new timeline, is where he re-entered the blueverse. Which I guess now is the orangeverse. F***ing awesome!
I gave it a 9, only because some of the exposition was handled roughly. Broyle's phone call at the end took something out of it, for me. I do love seeing Peter again, but I had hoped to see some glimmer of recognition in Olivia, or maybe to have Walter be the one who sees him first and has a more emotional reaction than "Who are you?"
Oh, and I would have likes to have seen some Over There scenes of Fauxlivia missing her baby and feeling a hole in her life, before Peter came back. I mean, really, she went through a lot having that kid. Maybe that is more a criticism of the last two episodes than of this one.
Hoped to give it more, this week, but I gave it an 8.
Unusual and startling revelations this week. Nina and Olivia's apparent close relationship. Olivia knows about the experiments as a child and isn't angry. Elizabeth still committed suicide. The Observer has seemingly rescued Peter? Knew he was coming back in Reiden Lake?
What I think now is that this was a 7. Okay, but all the background incongruities are becoming distracting, disconcerting.
Well, we know the trust funds were very generous in the other, irrational (?) timeline. Too bad this guy had the bad daddy.
Can't wait for next week though!

Interesting episode. Ponderous in parts but some good relationship moments between Olivia and Walter. Peter's appearance of course ups the ante with [presumably] September's presence at Reiden Lake on his return.
A solid instalment to join those preceding it. Definitely a different 'feel' for Fringe this season - more mature overall. Possibly the treatment's been re-targeted/adjusted toward a slightly older demographic. Good episode with a spicy little cliffhanger.
Rating: 7.5/10

MM.
10!One of the most amazing episodes of Fringe yet!The feeling that gives you...it's brilliant!
The episodes just get better and better. I gave the previous episode a 10 so this one definitely gets a 10 from me, which is unusual from me but they are just so good. The two week break is going to kill me.
Definitely a 10! I'd actually give it a 100 if it was possible...
I don't think there's much more to say, all of the original characters were there, cortexiphan was there, Peter was there, it was like a good ol' season one episode!
Abso-freakin'-lutely amazing!
What if you and I, both of us, at this very moment were being manipulated?
