Oh wow, I never thought of it in this way. I thought what Cameron said simply meant something on the lines of him forgiving Walter, and telling Olivia to get Walter to not feel the guilt anymore in regards to what he did to Cameron and the Cortexiphan subjects. If what you theorise is true then it might explain why Peter and Olivia forgot about their first meeting in the original blue-verse timeline.

Just a question, is it clear whether Olivia actually remembers the Cortexiphan trials in this new amber-verse timeline or did she just simply uncover details about the past like she did in the original Blue-verse.

Olivia seems to remember much more here. Perhaps killing her step-father had something to do with that. She remembered the trials, remembers she set fire to a room, and remembers that she ran away from the cortexiphan trials. And one supposes somehow ended up living with Nina Sharp.

in the old timeline i always assumed that Walter made both Olivia and Peter forget

on that episode w/ Tyler #5 where he was mind controlling people..there was and interaction between Walter/Peter about hypnosis, if you watched what Walter did after Peter said "you can't hypnotize people..blah blah" imo there was no other way to interpret it but to assume that Walter hypnotized young Peter to make him forget.

so that's what i always assumed was the reason why neither remembered much of their childhood

Did this Walter ever have parts of his brain removed?

I believe that out of Peter's, Walter's, and Olivia's memory losses, at least two and probably all three were related. Bell or Walter may have been behind them for some reason; who knows?
I took "make him forget about me" to mean "don't let him even think about visiting me again-- I'm done with him."
Whichever Olivia he chooses... her universe will survive.
He still has feelings for her.

The words don't seem to be spoken with any anger though, I just watched the scene again and there is this moment after he says it that they look at each other kind of half smiling. So, I don't buy into anger being the full motivation for his statement, maybe partially, but not fully. He says it more matter of factly. But my opinion is subjective, so yours could easily be correct as well.

maybe not so much anger, but hassle, sadness... his life has been ruined because of walter, make him leave me alone. maybe even pleading for peace from all this craziness.

    I Concur,

[Watched the episode a 2nd time earlier today.]

Olivia says to Cameron (Subject 9),
"You know Cameron, if there is anything that I can do for You..."
Cameron replies, "Make him Forget about me." (in a Matter of Fact tone [and those were the words I chose to describe Cameron's tone Before reading fringeG33k's post])

As they both look at Walter walking towards the car, Olivia seems to have a Confused expression as to what Cameron meant.
Meanwhile Walter pauses and turns back slightly having possibly overheard them talking.
Then Cam/Liv turn back facing each other and she seems a little less confused as Cameron just smiles and nods at her.

I think in this Amberverse Olivia simply just doesn't realize the Full Extent of her Abilities (she didn't even know that they were still present till this latest episode [S4E4]). It's also entirely possible that some of the things she had done as a child in the previous timeline are different in this one (Cortexiphan Abilities). Perhaps she did exhibit an ability to Erase Memories or something.

It's also entirely possible that Important Dialogue shouldn't be given to Guest Stars that might not be able to handle it. Because while there are some interesting ideas to explore here, I fear that some of what was meant to be said got Lost in Translation (so to speak).
