That was incredible television. I loved the chemistry between all the characters, even though their relationships are all different. And Olivia's smile at the end of the episode... It made Amber-verse Olivia seem more live Blue-verse Olivia. No matter what universe or time-line she's in, Peter makes her happy.

The parallels between the case and the Fringe team was wonderful as were the sets and the shots... everything was just so well done!

I also noticed that so far there are no posts in the disappointed thread. And there shouldn't be!

I absolutely LOVED this epi. My favorite of the season, my all-time favorite since the S2 finally. The case was so interesting and heartbreaking/human. I was so happy to see Olivia and Peter work together again. Peter looks at Olivia so lovingly, and the best is that she saw it, so she's not "afraid" of him anymore.

There's so much more... Walter not being able to look at Peter, his comment on Peter being smart, Peter's badassness

Can't wait to see Peter help the Fringe team further.

Thank you Fringe for giving us amazing TV!!!!!
Olivia: Cute. Except in my case, I actually graduated. I'm guessing you bought yours to impress the girls.

There have certainly been plenty of disappointed threads OUTSIDE of the disappointed thread... *facepalm* That's why we create threads like this, to keep threads orderly. And it helps root out the overwhelming sensation of negativity across the forum. *sigh* Why people choose to join a forum simply to complain or spread the negativity is beyond me.

How I missed this about him!! He's been rather passive through Season 2 and portions of Season 3, but let's hope he will be more of an ACTIVE member of the action in Season 4.

This was just terrific!!! fantastic episode, with stellar performances from Josh Jackson, John Noble and the couple at the centre of the story. They were terrific, especially the wife. Yes it was a lovely call back to White Tulip, one of my favourite eps ever. I have had a theory that Peter is in the wrong reality, and I'm wondering if I am right? I hope so! This Olivia is hard and horrible and Anna's performance is all over the place, not sure what she's trying to do in this role, but she is really not Peters Olivia.
It would be great to have the Observers take on things, and a bit of story development....I just hate the fact there is yet another break...

I thought it was a very good episode. Finally a Fringe case that wasn't related to some evil, this was just a case where the man who loved his wife was unaware of his consequences.

It also kind of fit the picture that Peter loves Olivia, but she is just unaware - at least until the last scene - what a smile!
The smile served as a big reminder of how cold and professional she is this season, even Lincoln didn't want to lunch with her.

I absolutely loved this one. Although I haven't disliked any of the season so far, this was the first time I did actually think, "We're back!". We had wonderfully funny Astrid and Walter moments. Walter's annoyance with anything Peter-related was hilarious. We had Peter using his enormous intellect - seriously, is that the definition of sexy or what? There were some great P/O moments - even if we don't...exactly...have P & O. Maybe. I loved the dream and Peter rolling his eyes at Olivia's response to him hovering too close at her shoulder. I love the way Lincoln just seems to casually accept Peter and doesn't seem to feel at all uncomfortable around him as the others do to varying degrees. I hope that if Peter turns out to be correct and this is not our universe after all that we somehow find a way to get Lincoln involved in our universe because I'll miss him if this gets reset. (I'm also somewhat stunned by the fact that the theory I advanced last week about this not being our universe might just be right. )

    Can't wait for next week!

Finally got time to watch this one -- and watched it twice! Another terrific episode. Everything is centering around Peter. He is definitely the remainder/undefined variable in this equation. I think the writers have now assured us that he is in the wrong place and in yet another yellow/amber universe (LOTS of yellow in this episode).

The final scene in Walter's on-campus house was especially poignant. Olivia sees Peter as more of an oddity than anything. Their conversation seemed like an odd breakup.

I found myself conflicted at wondering exactly who had been left behind. I thought many in the tunnel would be...ambered or left behind. That did not occur, so who was left behind? Peter clearly wasn't left....who was left behind? Who are For Those Who Were Left Behind?
    Thanks.

I believe the husband felt like he left his wife behind because of her condition. He felt that he wanted his wife back and this was him going back in time to have her again. This kind of parallels Peter and his story. He sort of left everyone behind because he knows everything about the other timeline and these "new" people do not. Just like the husband trying to get his wife back, so Peter is trying to get his people back.
