Fringe scored a 1.1 rating with adults 18-49 even with last week's series low, and averaged 2.874 million viewers.
Well, at least the ratings didn't decline to sub 1.0 before the break.

EDIT: Ooops! Was writing this post while Firefly was posting the ratings in another thread. Please remove this thread, mods. Thank you!

I think we should start a campaign now like what happened earlier this year to persuade Fox not to cancel.

We have a two month break now. This gives us time to spread the word.

    Unhappy

Awww...I really hoped it would be stable.... but had kind-a bad feeling about it because the "normal" viewers are getting more confused and leave the show...

Well I for one am not giving up! We haven't even seen the +3 DVR ratings yet... Those do count... I know for one I wasn't out last night... Why would I be? It was snowing! Who wants to go out in the snow? Not me! Besides, none of my friends when they get off work on a Friday night want to go out... Just too tired... So, we stay in and watch Fringe instead... But I guess the silver lining to all this is at least we didn't go down in the ratings... But seriously another 1.1? What's wrong with this picture people? I mean really?

I'm in for any campaign. I'll get my Fringe friends, Kim and Thunder, to help too. Well definitely Thunder, Kim will take some convincing.

This is oh so very depressing maybe one thing is try and find out why people are quitting the show and not watching live? Like you say Mancha fingers crossed for the 3 day DVR figure.

Honestly .... I have really enjoyed this show, even with it's ups and downs ... and I can say without any negativity whatsoever, that it wouldn't bother me if they wrapped it up this season or next, in a nice tight fashion that pleased their viewers and didn't leave b.s. unanswered questions.

I would have been upset if we didn't have a Season 4 .... but I'll be happy with 1-4 so long as they do answer some of those questions. And it's not because I'm bored, or I can't stand this or that ... I think it's sort of the "sequel" mentality. 4 movies in a series story arc is usually pushing it to me ... Lord of the Rings summarized the books nicely in the movies I thought. Harry Potter is an exception because it follows the growth of a child to an adult, basically. But for the most part, I think 4 years, 4 sequels, etc and so forth ... is a noble goal to shoot for. Just imho. Anything beyond that, and you risk getting into Police Academy 13, Citizens on Patrol and all that $h!t.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I didn't think Fringe would actually make it through the first season, or it's second, or it's third. In other words, I've been pleasantly surprised at just how many episodes we've gotten of this wonderful show. To me, it's like we've been gifted 66 shows.

So I guess I'm not too worried about the ratings. The show has to end sometime, after all. I have faith that the writers will tie up loose ends in the next 15 episodes and draw the story to a wonderful conclusion that will be satisfying, yet leave us wanting more. Too often I've seen shows that jump the shark and there's nothing worse than having to watch the decline in quality of one of your favorite shows. It's something I would never want to see happen with Fringe.
