    9. Best episode so far this season, and just what the show needed after slow start to the season.

The only good episode in this season so far, a solid 8.5 with loads of Mythos and a wonderfully presented red universe. Might be too late though. I cant see this series ending well but I'm in it for the long haul either way. A nice change to be absorbed in an episode again!

I gave it a 9, but that could be because there were so many weeks without Fringe.

I wish this episode had been the mid-season finale like they had intended. Episode 7 was such a weak episode to end on that I think it might have hurt viewership, and this one was clearly the strongest and most satisfying show since Peter came back. Maybe the strongest show of the season so far! Let's hope this episode is just a taste of what is to come.

    8. Peter and Elizabeth's scenes were so touching! Joshua Jackson's performance in the entire episode - kudos!!! I liked that Walternate in this timeline is not the evil guy. The two Lincolns interactions were so funny! Let's hope they don't forget Lincoln in that closet

I'm at 8 because it was mostly setup for what comes next. Energetic setup, yes, which is why it's 8 and not 7 or 6, but overall not much actually happened. I can't wait for next week.

It was a 9 for me...It was a wonderful episode, very well made, with a brilliant ending...(Honestly if September dies, though,I'm gonna cry)...I must say I expected more for the case of peter going home but I guess he'll stick around in the new timeline for a while...To be honest I was shocked with Brandon, although I knew from the beginning that Walternate wasn't responsible for the new shapeshifters...I mean that was a little predictable...But hey,JONES IS BACK....Best villain ever and he's back...I think I'm gonna cry from excitement!

    8. It was such an action packed episode, with tons of references to the past, universe comparisons, emotional scenes, new storylines... When the episode ended, I thought it was maybe 1/2 way through. Time jumps are usually a sign of great television.

I might have considered giving it a 9 if the storytelling was more fluid. I don't understand why they felt like cramming everything in to this episode. They should have pulled some of these new stroylines out into the slower previous episodes. Also the previous episode ending with Nina looking quite evil, but she isn't even mentioned in this episode. Just like the observer not erasing Peter in ep 1, not mentioned again, then showing up in ep 8 for 10 seconds. We can probably safely assume they are going to fill in at least some of the gaps here, but it kills momentum in the show to not have any storylines which are continuing from ep to ep.
