    Exclamation Olivia played Peter!

As dALTnielle mentioned in a previous thread, Olivia clearly double-crossed Peter in this episode. She knew that her secret mission, to be executed by Lincoln, on the other side would put Peter in a hard position to get any help from Walternate - the only man in two universes who can help him get home.

Why did she do that? Why would she do that to Peter?

Part of me says, she just doesn`t want Peter going anywhere. (The part that rabidly "ships Polivia" as they say lol) However, I think I can recall Olivia using her intelligence and charm to make things go her way. (Remember in the pilot when she lied through her teeth about the FBI having a file on Peter, and etc.?) She is definitely a woman on a mission. This just kind of proved to me that she really has no regard for Peter, she doesn`t know him, or love him.

    *cries* hahahaha

P.s. We DID see Fauxlivia with a change of attitude. She has always been the rebel but she was willing to go out on a limb for something Olivia said. I guess after that moment in "One Night in October" she started to give Olive a little more credit. =)

But thats the point.l She *doesn't* know him. She definately can't love him if she doesn't know him. Thats part of what we will be dealing with in the coming weeks, i'm sure.

I'd also bet that Fauxlivia has some subliminal memory leakage where she knows what Walternate is capable of, even if she can't put her finger on why she feels that way.

The show has sort of come full circle, she is again using Peter as she did originally but eventually he should A) Find his way home or B) His presence should change Olivia again.

Peter and Olivia are perfect for each other because they make themselves 'better'.

I see you started the thread, just like you said. Nice

I think that in this episode we saw Olivia and Altlivia take something from each other. Olivia wasn't just putting others first instead of the mission just to keep them safe, she actually took control and acted (even though she knew Peter would feel betrayed). Altlivia didn't just stop when AltBroyles and Walternate gave the orders, she thought about Olivia, about what she said, she trusted her instincts and moved forward with the investigation... it wasn't just a mission, it was something right that she had to do. Even the way she was explaining to AltLincoln in the Opera reminded me of Olivia.
So it's nice to see that they both payed attention to each other in ep. 4.2 and now we get to see that the two working together on that mission had more meaning than we initially thought.

Also, just like it was mentioned, she really doesn't know Peter, how could she love him already? So she did use him, just like in the Pilot. And let's be honest, it's not like she did something that bad. The people from the AU would've thought they crossed over to spy or something anyway (since they didn't use the bridge), so... no harm done I'm sure Peter will understand I remember that in the Pilot he was actually impressed by how Olivia was able to play him, maybe this will remind him of his Olivia and spice things up lol

..... or its osmosis...remember in series one, Peter knew where the 'metal suppository' was without Walter actually telling him. One of my favourite episodes that one!! maybe if all these events or versions of these events have happened before, each iteration carries little bits forward...I think this might be why Walter uses food as a mind-jog for recalling things, that word association thing. Maybe he made up his mind in earlier iterations to use food to try and make him remember important events to be aware of from the past. And maybe the others don't know where they get these bits of info, but I think that interogation of Peter revealed that he has earlier memories. They carry stuff from other universes/times in their subconcious, hence the dreams???Just a theory, but hey it has just as many holes as the others. Also we have NEVER explained why Walter was born 2 years after Robert Bishops death....Are all the Bishop boys clones or genetic creations? in series one Walter revealed how he was trying to make supersoldiers ( that's the ep with the aging baby) I always thought he had succeeded and that's why he was checking out Peters eyes when they met at St Claires, and the doc in the aged baby ep was very pointedly eyeing Peter- but maybe it goes further, maybe Walter too was created!!! I know I am speculating like a total nut-job, but i am so excited by this ep that I feel a bit of faith has been restored and that just maybe, we are gonna get some answers....fingers crossed.

Yeah I was replying to the person who said she does not know Peter. She knows him in some capacity and was freaked out completely. I think any of us would be.

I think she knows Peter, but not on a conscious level... that's why she was dreaming of a man she hadn't seen before. maybe with the help of Cortexiphan, or maybe there was something about those dreams she had, that will help her somehow remember him.

Yes, I think this is a great theory.
Just like Olivia knew in LSD that a man she had never seen (Mr X from her subconscious mind) was going to kill her in a future that hadn't happened for her yet.

Peter should propose to Walter and Olivia to take some LSD together to access their subconscious minds and get it over with
