Highest rated show for the Starz paid network. Had Lucy Lawless, John Hannah, Marissa Ramirez, Jaime Murray and others in it.
This is the third season. Spartacus Blood and Sand and Gods of the Arena came first. The actor that played Spartacus Andy Whitfield, died of cancer, and tonight his replacement will debut.
The show runner is Stephen S. DeKnight (Smallville, Angel, Dollhouse). It is an excellent fun show that covers the violence, sex, ambition and vengeance of the Roman empire and the story of Spartacus v. Rome.
It stars when Fringe ends which is great cause I personally know a lot are fans of both shows.
