The "Tears of Ra" toxin was the sole creation of Neil Chung, the guy who was doing the actual killing in the episode. He used the blue rod September apparently dropped at Reiden Lake in 1985 to see possible futures, and was able to combine a specific set of chemical compounds to create the toxin, whose successful creation could not possibly have been predicted had the resulting chemical reaction not been foreseen.

Basically, the toxin dispenser and the blue rod Neil had (which March retrieved at the end of the episode) are two separate objects, with the former belonging to Neil and not the Observers (who don't carry around toxins of any kind).

Simple. Lincoln knew the alternate version of Nick Lane. This is how he recognized him, he thought it was the Nick that he knew. I'm guessing by Lincoln's "I just saw a ghost" reaction to seeing him, suggests to me that the alternate Nick Lane died previously.

There are other clues in the pilot as well... Why did Broyles send Olivia? What's going on there? Massive Dynamic, ZFT, GGGR... What's happening? John Scott and NSA?

What happened to the alternate version of William Bell? If the Blue version went and hid out over there for years, what happened to the red version of him? And if he was killed, shouldnt he be alive now that Peter was erased? Unless DRJ killed both of em..
