I loved this episode. What I weaned from it, is that this *IS* our Peter's timeline and he doesn't believe it, and in the previews for the one in four weeks, the Olivia of this timeline is losing her 'old' memories, or perhaps she's losing her 'peter' memories, couldn't quite figure that out. I think what the observer truly meant, is that Peter's Olivia wasn't the one that had his baby, and in theory, no longer exists.

Love the angst aspect that'll be on the show now though. Interested to see how all the characters are going to deal with it. And how irritated Lincoln will be if all this Olivia talks about it missing Peter. lmao.

damn 4 weeks is too long, fringe has been really good in not letting all the mythology out in one episode,
    we still have many questions,
the answer to the observers origin, wasnt far fetched, we all had already suspected that, the only bad answer wouldve been if they were aliens
ALIENS! now that wouldve been horrible

Yep -- loved this on my first run through -- will rewatch at least twice tomorrow with my morning coffee

Except for the "mind meld" with September, this I thought was a pretty straight narrative. Not a lot of puzzles or clues provided to decipher, although I may pick up on them later.

I do have to say though that Peter saying goodbye to Olivia at the end was heart-breaking.

However, what I didn't like was the "In Four Weeks..." part at the end. FOUR WEEKS???!!!!!! But that is for another thread probably.

Yet again another wonderful piece of writing and acting.

I loved the whole Peter in Septembers mind segment, I thought the answers were very satisfying and uncomplicated.

Although some are saying they didn't like the observers explanation, I thought it was perfect. Probably the best 10 mins of Fringe ever. What else needed to be said really? It was well done, and like I said, perfect. Everything about the EP was a 10. Best show on TV again!

I'm with you on this one. The Observers are such vague entities to begin with, that I hadn't expected anything more complicated from this scene. We didn't get all the answers, but for now, we got enough. And honest to God, I believe Peter is 'home'. I think this is his timeline. Given the fact that September was so literal when he told Peter to 'go home', clues us in on the fact that Peter's where he's supposed to be.

Just watched the Promo for the next episode again, and it would seem the memories Olivia are losing are her old ones, as I'd suspected. So yeah, definitely think this is our Dunhamater.

I tried to stay away from spoilers this week, it was a fun surprise that David Fury wrote this week's script. While I'm still absorbing what everyone thinks about it, I'm relieved! I'd been worried the answers wouldn't live up to the fanbase expectation. Like the moral dilemna P/O went through. I was sold on her being Peter's Olivia. *sniff*

The show did answer things, "After four years". Gosh, where has all the time gone? Observers are us, a long time in the future. Olivia Does need Peter around to do her paranormal thing. Henry, oh boy. I'm not crazy about following the baby/father subplot, although today The End of All Things is the end of Henry according to September. The romance last week was startling, but she is not Peter's Olivia. I'm still having trouble with that. But it appears my friend was right and I was wrong. Oh well.......

    It was So good!

That's hilarious, the thread asking if it's the End of All Things, exactly what HAS ended? I'm not quite sure!

It turned out better than I thought, *whew*! I laughed when I found out Olivia really Did need Peter around to exercise her powers. That debate's been going on since she turned on the lights in "Ability".

Very nice mind meld, Peter! It's about time you did it. *shakes head* I just loved her turning on the lights almost all at once. Wasn't it weird Peter was electrocuted with the other man, but when Olivia retrieves him, the other guy is crispy and Peter is fine? What a fight, they were seriously kicking a**!

How could Peter and Olivia do such an awesome team exit from Jones' basement, then Peter have to wrest himself from Olivia and "Go home"? Great angst! (mournful low call) *Aaaaaaoooooooooooooooooooooo!.................... ....*

I was surprised that David Fury isn't listed in IMDB. Could that be right? I found him in Wikipedia.

Just cause Peter believes it doesn't make it true. I guarantee she IS his Olivia
