I have to admit I'm not totally getting this conversation, but I just wanted to say I'm shocked that in 2012 I have encountered another person who has read Simak.

Skell, your questions are good, sorry I couldn't provide better answers. I don't think this is war for power. War to stifle technology (ZFT). War to unify to universes into one? Why?

The Observers, your question is "why spend so much effort and energy just to watch?" If you had the ability to travel through time and witness history with your own eyes, why wouldn't you?

It's unclear why the tunnel continues to exist even after Peter is erased. I suppose it is because Peter is never completely erased.

It's hard to say whether or not there are any real inconsistencies, the writers have yet to finish telling the story. When the story has ended, it will be much easier to recount the story and determine how many inconsistencies there are.

I was disappointed in the lack of CGI when September 'died', and to be honest, he could've told Peter a bit more about The Observers. My dislike of Nina Sharp continues, I have watched every ep. since S01E01 over the last couple of weeks (bought DVD box sets and had a few marathons) and yep, I've never actually liked her at all.

As for which Olivia Peter should be with, well, I think he's made the right decision to walk away now and get definitive proof before moving forward with any one of them...
