Did anyone catch Walternate and September's conversion?

Did anyone catch what Walternate and September said to each other while they were speaking
in September's memory? This being "Fringe", it might be important (it could shed more light
on the events of "Peter" and "Subject 13").

I know before September and Peter spoke, we heard the following:

WALTERNATE: Excuse me, what are you doing here?
SEPTEMBER: Forgive me, Doctor Bishop. I did not mean to disturb you. I am...an admirer...

The rest is obviously hard to listen given September/Peter talking over it, but from the best I can tell, Walternate is telling September about going to university administration or somesuch if he wanted to meet with him, while September talks about simply wanting to observe the moment, before cutting his losses and leaving.

I listened to the clip several times, and I tried to make out September and Walternate's words. This is
what I could catch:

Walternate: ...visitors must be cleared through the university...
September: ..it would mean a great deal to me if I could stay...observe...
Waltnernate: ..go..
September: ...There is no need...sorry for disturbing you.

Nothing big there. But I always wondered did this mean Walternate
was aware of the mysterious bald guys, especially if Alt-Brandon was
also keeping an eye on their appearances.

Brandon strikes me as being quite a bit younger than Walter/Nina/Bell, and even Broyles. I think he would have been a child or teenager in 1985.

Furthermore, there was no Bell. Of course, there was a Bishop Dynamic there already, whereas Walter and Bell hadn't gotten around to MD yet. So I guess there could have been some Observer tracking down in Jacksonville, and maybe there would be Observers down there. Perhaps Altliv also spent time there, or they were just milling around the area because Walternate spent some time there (I'm guessing they both had locations in Jacksonville because they both had strong times to the military).

It was actually Brandon of the Blue World who was shown to have been tracking Observer actvity (as shown in 2.08). It is unknown if Walternate/Brandonalt know anything of the Observers other than Walternate's meeting with one may years ago at the Harvard Lab. I figure Walternate must have wondered who the bald man was in particular, but I doubt he began investigating the Observer phenomenon unless he learned of them through chance/them visiting him again.

I agree. I don't think a single altercation with an Observer would interest Walternate in any way. He probably just thought it was some strange guy, and wouldn't put the two together unless the Observers were discovered on the other side. I don't think that happened though, because the only reason they found the Observers in the Blue universe was because September was at an inordinate number of events over a short period of time. In the Yellow Universe, the Observers caught at events were different, and thus Broyles and Olivia never discovered their true nature.
