    Well. My gosh!

    At last there's answers.

*puts head in hands while the basketball games blare in the background* Oh my gosh.

*tap, tap, tap* So it's aired and I don't have to use spoiler tags? Although I don't want to mess it up for fans in other time zones.*

    I'll check back. *chews fingernails*

Question I've got, now that Peter's timeline has been confirmed, what about alternate-Olivia? Will she remember her interactions with Peter too? What about their baby?

Time will tell. Personally, I would consider it poor form if the writers never have alt-Olive remember the baby or find out about it in any way. Alt-Olive should be intuiting her missing baby the same way that Walter and blue olivia were intuiting the missing Peter. That's just the way things need to happen if the show is to have any DEPTH when all is said and done.

Well I had thought there were just four more episodes of Fringe but we have eight, seven after this last Friday's episode.

It would be wrong for a woman to have a baby and fall in love with it and then to be robbed of the memory of that joy to avoid the grief of losing it. If they don't provide closure then it is like playing "good cop, bad cop" where AltOlivia is the "bad girl" who seduced Peter and never really had feelings for him. But I think she did. She gave up a good relationship with Frank because of it. But curious, she isn't with Frank so maybe Frank couldn't get over the shock even though Peter was forgotten.

And then it seems that Walter is warming up to Peter and in time Peter's real mother and father, may also remember him. Which in the interim Peter builds a relationship with them, may prevent the war he built the bridge to overcome.

I doubt that anyone else will remember the old timeline. Olivia does, only because she was altered by Cortexiphan to have enhanced perception. I had thought Walter might as well, since his fondness for mind-altering substances led to the discovery of the AU in the first place, but it doesn't seem to be happening. In this timeline, baby Henry never was conceived or born, and no one but Peter knows he ever was.

I don't like the whole "Olilvia is the only one who remembers because of the cortexiphan" concept. Hopefully there's more to it than that. LOVE being the reason for Peter coming back is pretty lame, but if the show is saying that Olivia is the only one who remembers because of the combination of LOVE and cortexiphan, then that's even lamer.

Not only would it be an endorsement of Walter and Bell's using children as test subjects (since without the cortexiphan Oliva wouldn't have remembered Peter even though she loved him), but it undermines the whole emotional entanglement concept in the first place if people who weren't drugged as children aren't able to remember the old timeline, even though it happened.

Well, they haven't showed much of the happenings in Walternate's universe for a bit, more focus has been put on Peter and the 'world' he's been trying to be part of, I'd like to find out if Peter's removal from the timeline of both universes has taken away any desire Walternate may have had to attack Walter's universe.
