I thought there was supposed to be a whole plot of him trying to prevent that.. Wasnt September's message was simply another warning in reference to that future event?
That future no longer exists, as Peter created the Bridge, instead of destroying the Red-Universe, thus eliminating the possibility of the future in which that event took place.

And really now, I think we can all go past this amber/blue Olivia. She clearly is Blue Olivia, the one Peter was always meant to be with. She "was" amber just because she lived this other life in this rewritten timeline, without Peter. But she is Blue Olivia, she is the one who lived all those experiences. And neither of them will forget it now.
I still harken back to 3.22 when Walter told Peter that Olivia would be their fail-safe if something went wrong with the decision Peter makes using the machine. Walter knew Olivia would remember due to the cortexiphan.

And that is exactly what I got out of it. Walter said there would be consequences but, it couldn't be worse then their future predicaments. Prison/ death/ destroyer of worlds where there was no future etc. I just don't understand why the scripting is so out of tune in season 4. Peter does a lot sees a lot says nothing much on screen about the future he witnesses, the creation of the universe in the observers mind (the Big Bang). He also thinks he is in the wrong place or timeline. He goes back and fourth with his assumptions of the timelines when he should of known a little more from his future time travel with cause and effect.

Another thing why couldn't Peter just return in ep 1 when he got out of the machine. Makes more sense then a love aspiration. The timeline could have been re-written backwards and we could of started the season with the unknown (Peter) time traveler. Everything non-Peter related could of been overlooked by Fringe/FBI. Fringe could have focused more on where it stopped with ZFT and the guiding advancement evolutions of man without the corrupted timeline as it advanced 3 years without Peter, Walter and Olivia. The Non-trio of interference shows Jones plan play out this time.
