Seemed like Peter was getting his feet wet to becoming an observer!
He looked good with a briefcase!
It was just a joke. But you know what they say about jokes![]()
Well, now that September has gone rogue (I somehow don't think the other observers are going to take kindly to his sneaking his way back to the in to the blueverse) maybe he'll teach Peter some tricks of the trade! After all, we know that it's possible for a very gifted human (such as the man from Making Angels) to understand the science behind the observers' powers...
EstherF, I think September left behind a couple pieces of technology that the Fringe division should have fun with. Walter may glean something from it for future use. I wonder when, or if we'll see September soon. He has an entire universe to get lost in.

Peter has already shown himself able to use Observer technology, in the episode August. I think it's very possible he's the original observer especially considering Beyond the Fringe.
Concerning that last bit, could you elaborate? If you are referring to the 1A-2A-3A issues arc, then I don't recall there being hints as to how Peter is the "original Observer", especially seeing how according to September, his kind is a possible future that only arose "many generations after Peter's lifetime".
I bet they have special spectural functions etc, so we can get some wacky fringe science out of them.
But maybe peter is meant to use them for events, like an observer....for important time related things.
