There's one thing I'm not understanding. The dude says to Olivia "what they've been preparing us for is happening" or words to that effect. Is he talking about the rewritten timeline (which Olivia doesn't remember) or the prewritten timeline (which Olivia reverted back to). If it was indeed cortexiphan that is the reason Olivia remembers Peter and noone else does, does that mean that the cortexikids will remember the old timeline and forget the current one?

Actually, I think he's talking about ZFT, and the whole soldier thing.

In the prior timeline, he was fully accepting of his role as a Cortexiphan soldier in the context of the ZFT Manifesto, and was preparing himself for when the "day would come", or something along those lines. It seems that has not changed in this timeline.

As for remembering the prior timeline, they probably won't. The only reason Olivia was made to remember was for the romance angle (IMO); they've justified it as a combination of Cortexiphan and the reciprocal bond of entanglement they have with one another, and since the Cortexiphan subjects lack the latter's connection to Peter (who in this scenario, acts as sort of a gateway to the prior timeline), then I doubt Nick Lane or any other Cortexiphan subject will remember.

Whether that's a satisfactory answer is a different question, however. My personal verdict will depend on how they use the Cortexiphan subjects in this upcoming episode.

^^ Exactly, I think this is the ZFT tie-in we both have been waiting for. We all assumed that the coming war that ZFT talked about was at the hands of the Red Universe, but it might have been much bigger than that. It could refer to what Jones is doing here, or what the Observers do in 2015.

I must say that over this season I have grown frustrated with my favourite programme. This promo for the finale does not change that opinion. We appear to drop back into "our" time to kill/stop what's his face again (forget his name), just after we have just had the "future observer world" episode. This appears to set us up for a 5th season which is set in the future.

Ran out of ideas? lets send the team into the future to fight a battle against the observers. seems a bit too much like some of the writting "lost" came up with and like reverse terminator. 60% series in the future and the other 40% how the current team got there. i miss the old style the team had. was such a great balance, we seem to have lost that
