    Default Needless scene

Seems to me the bed scene where Peter was looking for an apartment was added just so Olivia can plug in the word 'nursery'.

In this timeline Walter owns the house close to campus; it was mentioned in one of the first episodes of this season.

Walter still lives in the lab; Peter lives in the (rather big) house; why on earth would they look for a place (with a nursery) in an obscure list of suburbs? What's wrong with the house? If there was anything wrong with the house, at the least there should have been a fleeing comment about it - somewhere, sometime. Plus, they didn't seem to have any qualms about it in the original timeline (which is the only one both remember).

There surely must be another, more creative way to suggest Olivia's newfound powers come from a baby.
    What do you think?

Perhaps they wanted a place that was just their own and not connected with all the craziness they have gone though. I DO think they used that scene as an excuse to get us thinking about them having a baby though, too.

Did you notice that they were hanging out in bed after 3 pm? Broyles said the incident at the mall was at 3:23, and they got there pretty soon.

It's obviously foreshadowing that a) Etta is the kid that Peter and Olivia will have and b) that in this rewritten timeline the proper cause to achieve intended events is to have Etta (September alluded to this in 4.14).

Not wasted on me. I thought it was cute.

As for the house thing, ashleyp87. Although the house Walter technically owns looks big on the outside, how many bedrooms have we seen? 1? lol Peter was looking at 3 bedroom houses, either he's already thinking of having a larger sized family or he's thinking about Walter moving along with them. But I think they're mostly looking at a fresh start.

Unfortunately in this universe FOX ended the commercial-free initiative so plot development is lacking in some places.

I was also thinking that larger than the baby talk, it's more poignant that P/O are thinking long-term.

Is it just me or was the blatant ad for sprint at the beginning a meaningless scene as well? (at least to the story..)

I'm cool with the product placement. They're helping to support the show.
