I Love You Too, John
"The Amazing Spider-Man"
I was a bit sceptical about a new Spider-flick so soon after the Raimi ones ended, but this looks promising
:
But in a summer with "The Avengers" and "The Dark Knight Returns", will this film become a victim
of "superhero fatigue" on the part of audiences ?

I Love You Too, John
This was pretty good. Garfield was good as the hero, Emma Stone makes a much better love interest
for Spidey than the dull Kristen Dunst, Rhys Ifans is interestingly conflicted as the villain, and Martin Sheen
is great as Uncle Ben. Worth a look.

"It has arrived!"
It was ok, better than Raimi's films, but only on some aspects. For example, I don't think Peter's Uncle Ben's death had quite as much emotion attached to it as it did in Raimi's "Spider Man." But other than that, I didn't have an issue with it. The Amazing Spider Man was very true to the Spiderman comics given how he has web shooters rather than having biological webs that he shoots out of his arms. I've never read a Spiderman comic, but I did know that "The Lizard" was his first nemesis.(Correct me if I'm wrong here.) Overall, it was a pretty decent film, I liked it. The actor that played Curt Conner's did the character justice in my opinion.
