I'm just not sold on the idea they are working together. I am thinking more and more that Nina is a Massive Dynamic Queen, and her interests lay pretty heavily in line with whatever MD's interests are. I think she obviously has alterior motives in play (by the fact she shares information with others, including Broyles who threatened her in the last episode) --- but I doubt her alterior motives would be her priorities over MD's welfare. I honestly do not think she is behind MOST of the events attributed to the Pattern (at least she is not knowingly behind them), although she is responsible for some of the events associated with the Pattern, in an attempt to expose the threat the Pattern and it's responsible forces pose to her and MD.Originally Posted by Deknor
Jones on the other hand seems to draw his resources from rogues within Nina and Broyles world, who would be in opposition to their apparent goals and priorities. I do think though, that Nina and Jones and the various groups are all after essentially the same thing, just for different reasons. In some ways, they are like the various players in an Indiana Jones epic. They are searching for the same "object", but for different motives and reasons (like the Ark of the Covenant or the Holy Grail). At times, they use each other to further advance their own agendas (like the Nazi's and Jones, or that group that protected the Grail for centuries, etc.) --- but this doesn't necessarily mean they are working "together".
I am going to be extremely disappointed if we find out that Nina and Jones are piloting the same boat together. It is too obvious of a deduced direction the show is hinting at wanting us to make, and if Jones isn't Bell --- then it introduces a whole other "soap opera" dynamic to the show that is already building. "Lab triangles" between Bell, Bishop, and Nina. Too much of this, and you suck the sci-fi aspect out of it (like that Peter and Cass business I'm trying to repress from Dreamscape) But this is just my opinion.

. Anyway as far as why Jones kidnapped Olivia; I think that it's more then him wanting the locations of the other boxes. It could also be related to what's happening inside of Olivia.
