    I love JJ's work, but I can't say that I'm a big Felicity fan

I used to watch Felicity when I was in Junior High- I watched a lot of the WB shows, including Buffy, Charmed, Roswell, all in their early days. I would have to say that Felicity was big part of my adolescence, as I was going through a rough time during those years, and certain episodes really touched me and actually made me feel better about everything. I think I'm gonna have to rewatch some of the episodes now

I never even knew JJ made Felicity until seeing this topic. He's certainly changed his style recently hasn't he?

I remember a few episodes of Felicity. Can't say it had a big impact on me. Dawson's Creek was more entertaining to watch in my opinion. They were both from around the same time right?

Yeah, same time and same network. They might have even been on on the same night at some point. I actually really disliked DC as a preteen, but in junior high, you could only choose either Buffy or Dawson's Creek, and I was a Buffy fanatic.

JJ's style has definitely changed, considering his last three shows are all feature a pretty dense mythology. I don't remember Felicity having too much of that, but I've still got to go back and watch some eps.

Heh. I decided to check out Felicity again as well, just to take a trip down Memory Lane. And for some reason I seem to be enjoying it, at least much more then I did 10 years ago.

Felicity is like the so opposite to anything else JJ has done. I saw one episode and that was one episode too much. But you have to start somewhere!

I am a big fan of just about every work, except for 'What About Brian'.

I watched Felicity while I was in high school and I have to say that even though I liked it then, I see it as something much greater now that I am 30.

It wasn't just a drama. It was a coming of age story and the characters struggled with real adult problems...and then of course I love it's unique ending.

The time travel to one alternate reality, to then coming back to another. You can just tell that all of the works after Felicity stems from it. They all keep growing from ideas left behind in other works! It's just something really special for the Abrams and Co. fans to be able to see all the parallels and easter eggs between them all.

I have to disagree. Parallel universes/alternate realities and his "mystery box" concepts all derive from here. In terms of minor mythological aspect, Six Degrees was a lot like it as well. All of his shows are along the empirical/anthropological/philosophical about humanity, Identity, the human condition, and the effects we can have on each other and the world(s) around us.
