The Glyphs

Okay: Here begins the thread with the pictures of the glyphs, in order of appearance, from episodes 4 - 14. I would have included episodes 1, 2, and 3, but neither Hulu nor Fox has them online anymore. But the below will do. I will soon post the images grouped together in accordance to their symbol, and even the placements of the light dots.

Now, because of the format of the commenting, it would be extremely helpful to this thread and all who wish to read/comment on it, that when you comment, you put the title of the episode you are commenting on. The way this thread is works is all the pages' comments are combined. So it would help if you tell the readers what episode glyphs you are talking about. Thanks so much!

EDIT!! READ THIS!! According to a certain website, the code of the glyphs has finally been broken by someone named Julian Sanchez. Basically, each glyph corresponds to a letter. The dots add more variety so more letters can be used. I attempted to find 1.15's code, and it turned out to be WALTER.

Here is a list of all the glyphs:


The Six-Fingered Hand
-This glyph is the handprint of a hand with six fingers.


The Leaf
-The leaf has the symbol for delta on it.


The Seahorse
-The seahorse has the Fibonacci spiral on its side, the spiral itself is contained inside a visual representation of the golden ratio.
The tail itself is also a Fibonacci spiral.


The Butterfly
-The butterfly has bones for wings.


The Apple
-The apple has embryos for seeds.


The Flower
-The flower has wings for some of its petals.


The Smoke
-The smoke is in the shape of a face (perhaps whispering into an ear?)


The Frog
-The frog has the Greel letter Phi on its back.


The Horn
-The horn has the Fibbonaci Spiral on it


The Dots
-These aren't considered glyphs, but the dots do accompany them. There are always three, in the shape of a scalene triangle.

So there you have it. These are the glyphs and the dots. Sometimes the glyphs are reversed, and sometimes the dots appear on different spots beside the glyphs.

1.05 Power Hungry
Hm. Interesting how the first glyph is a hand with a glyph to the left. The second glyph is the complete opposite of the first. The final four have dots to the right. How curious....

1.04 The Arrival
I think it might be worth noting that the first three glyphs for 1.04 The Arrival have the dots to the bottom-right, while the last two glyphs are in the bottom-left. The bottom-left are also apples.

1.06 The Cure
This is curious. All of the dots are to the left....

1.07 In Which We Meet Mr. Jones / 1.08 The Equation
It appears that in these two episodes, one of the glyph dots is always to one side, while the other four are to the other side.

1.09 Dreamscape
Like 1.06 The Cure, all the dots are to the left.

I see your point, but I'll leave it here because this clues/EE section is like a stand-alone library, where all clues are front and center and easy to locate. We'll try to steer deeper discussion to the normal threads.

Once again, we see all the dots on one side. I think I might visit the glyph investigation thread . . . See WHAT these dots could mean.

Also, just for better determination purposes, I will soon group the glyphs by type and dot position.
