At the beginning, when Broyles is discussing the child with Olivia, Walter, and Peter, he asks for Walter's thoughts on the boy. Walter proceeds to request his turntable, or record player.
We know that the turntable later comes into play when Walter dances around crazily. Without knowing anything about the child, what importance did Walter see the turntable would have? Did he possibly foresee that, once he discovered the child was bald, he would need to read the child's thoughts?
