    Default Cortexifan (Cortexiphan?) website

I stumbled across this on the Fringe Wiki. Someone discovered this and hopefully didn't make it up.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already or if this reply should be on a new thread or in "Viral".

    http://cortexifan.com/

if you check it out, There are "P" and "N"s on each name...suggesting if they tested Positive or Negative? You notice there are about 4 names with Ps, including an asterisked OD and the first one being PB. VERY INTERESTING INITIALS.

I'm thinking, could 47 be Nick's test number? Like he was a later subject (or tested outside Bell & Walter's supervision by ZFT?) that's why he was never mentioned in the site?

The site is very basic though...Confidential. Haha.

I liked how this episode expanded the cortexiphan story. A friend of mine called it part of the "Ability trilogy".

Good point there ..... and another thing, how do we know that Olivia and Olive are the same person?

After all, wasn't Nick Lane researching Dopplegangers? Perhaps Olive is Olivia's Doppleganger

From "Bound" we see Olivia takes some viles from the ZFT lab --- viles that apparently had to do with spinal tap samples, etc.:

There has been varied speculation as to what the numbers "03981-2009-06C" mean, but if 03981 is the date the sample was originally taken, that would be about right for the Cortexaphan experiments 3/9/81. If this was in fact a sampling containing Olivia's CSF or something, then she would have been 2-3 years old.

Also, if this is a date, then what does the 2009 represent? Could that be the year the "patients" who gave the samples were to be activated ?

I know....bummer indeed. I just realized in Walter's Lab Notes, he spells Cortexiphan ("ph") not with an "f" only. That would've been really dumb of them to mispell on an ARG/Viral. Lol. Thanks!

I don't usually get hung up on looks but there is a definite difference between a two year old and a five year old in height, weight, hair length and growth. I would hate to see Fringe fall into the inconsistency trap. You know, where writers just start throwing stuff at us and expect us to take it at face value and not question other things we have learned or know.

You mean like expecting us to just dismiss the fact that a 78 year old Leonard Nimoy sounded the same almost 30 years as he does today?

What I want to know is: How was Olivia taken to the facility where the experiments were done on her?

It was a day care centre, whether the parents willingly signed up their children for the treatment or they were carried out illegally we have yet to be told.
