    Harris worked for neither Z.F.T or Massive Dynamic. In order to convince him to give him the items he needed, Jones most likely offered to appeal his prosecution for sexually assaulting those three women. Of course, Z.F.T. most likely used that as leverage to get Harris to help them, even after he gave Jones the items. Personally I think it went beyond threatening Harris by killing an agent, mainly due to his reaction shots to Jones saying "He needed some convincing."

    Either that or Jones blackmailed him by threatening to expose him for his crimes against those women if he did not cooperate.

    In the scene where Harris is talking to Jones, Jones clearly had never met him in his life. This tells me that he wasn't a member of Z.F.T. like Loab.
