Nina Sharp

What bothers me about Nina in that episode is that, when Olivia tries to contact her when waiting for her, someone answers that Nina is "out of the country".
It seems established in the following episodes that Olivia was already in the AltUniverse at the moment (she crossed at the moment of the near miss collision, or so it seems).
Considering this, this particular answer "she's out of the country" strikes me as the exact same answer they give in our universe when someone wants to see Bell !
So, would that mean that, at some time, Nina was in the altverse with Bell? Maybe she did cross with him, and after they discover the danger of crossing too often, they decided she should stay in our universe to run the company while Bell staus over there.

Medicine and advanced tech exist in the other universe and it appears that Bell had been over there for a long time. I could see her having been over there at some point, at least for the surgery. It's definitely a fun idea to tinker with.
